Hunter, I was chatting last week with some friends and is it true there is a Sonny's BBQ on base now?

 

We have a fenced enclosure and a small barn for them. There are a lot of coyotes around here so the goats go into the barn every night.

 

I forget who it was I contacted and they said the connectors and everything was available but no one would make such a thing because of legal reasons. See, you would be manufacturing something that would be for disabling a federally required feature.
What I was told.

Yeah, we've got coyotes (who doesn't at this point) but they and other predators are really rare here, I live in the middle of a big city. For me it might be easier to fence off a small area for my plants, leaving goats the rest of the yard.

 

If you live inside the city limits, you might want to check the ordinances on small "farm" animals.

 

When i was active duty stationed in idaho, i was headed in to night shift. Huge badger in the road dead. I get to work and said did you guys see that big badger in the road dead? One buddy say "yes cuz i hit it!" He was driving a sunfire and said it was like hitting a cinder block.

 

I have, as best I can tell the only animals that require licenses/specific accomadations are "livestock" animals which does not include goats.

 

I wonder if that depends on the breed of goat?

Also, do you have any Karens in your neighbor that would object to goat sound/smell, etc?

There’s a roundabout below my work, when I left yesterday I had to stop and grab this, it was laying to the side. It’s 1” thick and about 9” x 16”.

 

Had some downtime waiting at work had a piece of scrap aluminum 5”x5”.
Had a test feature so it does have a drill point left in it on one side!
But I needed a shop ashtray so I programmed and made this in about 90 minutes.


I was gonna cut the square off completely but it shows it was made from square stock.
Made a hell of a mess!

 

Someone on the back shift made one where I work. I forget the diameter but am thinking it was like 10" , I asked where's mine? I think they started on it but never finished. I'll check when I get back.
Nice work though. That's so cool all the things you can do with CNC

 

Just want to add I’m kinda anal!
The diameters and square are 3.500 +\- .002.
I’m new to the program part but have been maching for 30 yrs!
I ran a manual G&L boring mill 12’x5’ table 82” head travel.
I enjoy driving still but yea I can’t spin the feeds speeds to do this manually!
Our machine fab paint shop does some amazing stuff!
