Dealer installed (running boards - part of purchase deal) Weather Tech (floor liners, headlight guards, bug shield); Vent Shade (rain guards, door sill protectors); Color matched body side molding; ARE color matched rear hatch; rubber bed and tailgate liner; Ranch Hand brush guard; SteelCraft Elevation rear bumper; 4" auxiliary running/stop/turn for place in bumper; led light to light up "SteelCraft" logo in bumper.
With no one knowing how to use a round about and the dumb ass Elected Officials putting more in, thought it time to make sure people see my blinkers. BTW, does anyone else feel like they are the only ones using blinkers? Grand General Amber/Amber 3” pedestal light mounted on a Rugged Ridge X Clamp mount on my Brush Guard.

I used an item found on late night TV that actually works. It splices two wires together, solders them, and heat shrinks it tight. While the ad shows a match can do it, I prefer a heat gun. Sorry do not remember the name.

The other end of the wires were spliced and soldered to the turn signal wires. Each individual wire was wrapped in electrical tape and the entire bundle wrapped in Nuke Tape to waterproof those connections.

If my blinkers still get ignored, a train air horn is next. Hell, I might put that in just for “giggles and grins.”

I had a muffler back exhaust installed today. I used a Hush Thrush muffler with 2.5" in/outlets and had a new 2.5" tailpipe installed with and 4" expansion tip. It sounds a little more aggressive now but not enough to piss off the neighbors when I leave the house every 5:30am.0821211555a_HDR.jpg 0821211555c_HDR.jpg

The girl and I had a wash date. I had a few trips to wash off so this one took a while. Also installed the k&n cabin filter and can feel the performance increase in the AC for sure lol

Instead of a train horn, I would highly recommend a refurbished Cadillac or Buick horn setup from the 1980's. Check out TW for the following:

It's funny how 3 different identical trucks perform differently. I found out, unintentionally, that the 2008 AC Prerunner I bought this week, that is a little rough starting and never had spark plugs replaced in all 83k miles, is more powerful than my 2012, my previous 2016 and my previous 2008 with less miles. This one has plenty of tread on the Firestone AT tires yet I broke the tires loose a couple of times yesterday totally by surprise. I was pleasantly surprised. All had V6 with an automatic. Haven't checked the axle ratio yet but that may be different on this one than the others.

A side note from the snorkel installation.

Measure fifteen times, cut once, and when you do, drill one hole at a time because the truck, snorkel and template are all going to be different.

Primed, painted and undercoated. Not too bad I think. It's my DD, not a show truck.

I will say that this was my 4th dobinsons snorkel install, and it definitely was the most interesting......it was fun though, and we did back up the claim that they fit on the 2.7 anyway......

No pics, but I installed the Redarc Liberty brake controller in my base model. I used the panel mount to put the knob in the center under the HVAC controls, and mounted the main unit in front of the gear shifter. I also relocated the 7-pin plug into the bumper. I had installed one of those cheap rear bumpers from Amazon after someone backed into me, and found that the 7-pin connector fit perfectly into one of the holes for the license lights. All I needed to do was drill new holes for the screws.
