Was cruising on Revolution Gears’ website and they now offer an Eaton E locker for the front IFS of our 3rd gens now? Does anyone have more info on these or if there’s anyone that’s had one installed. I know Harrop is currently the only company offering an E locker for the front.
One thing I dislike about the Harrop locker is in the case that you get stuck in mud or snow and you have to “rock” the truck back and forth. The locker unlocks for about a turn and a half of the tire to get the gears to lock again. Was wondering if anyone that has the new Eaton locker, does it do this as well.

They are the same locker, Eaton sells Harrop under their name in the US market. I have one, it’s excellent, no rocking to get it engaged.

Did you do the install? Planning to put one in my front differential since I'm opening it up for repairs on the carrier and pinion bearings. If you did, were there any hiccups? TIA!

I had it professionally installed by a gear shop. They said it was straight forward, no issues.

The only issue I had was with the pigtail connection from the rear diff to the harness; the two wires have very sensitive blade ends that kept falling out of the connector. You’ll need to very gently grasp the wire ends with needle nose pliers as they poke through the bus in order to seat the grommets. Then apply liberal amounts of black silicone right where the wires enter the exterior of the connector and leave it alone for 24 hours before plugging it into the harness. If you don’t do this, the wires will not make sufficient contact with the harness and won’t engage. It works perfectly now, absolute silent engagement.
