    You'll never hear us Brits complain about petrol prices in the US... about $7-8 a gallon back home! Currently $3.80 here in HI.

    When I stopped for gas in Germany, I think gas was about $6+ per gallon (after conversion). I'm glad I was driving a little Renault

    Doesn't seem to be blocking the area where a side-lift would deploy from a handicap van so I see no issue with that spot. I'd use similar odd spots for mcy parking back in the day, making sure I wasn't where I would be in anyone's way.

    True, that's a risk, though cast aluminum side steps would tend to reduce the chances of damage to the truck.

    Can't remember ever intentionally trying to park close to someone - but if they're hugging the line for no good reason I'm gonna park in the middle of the spot so as to not be a dck to the car on the other side of my spot.

    Except that the areas with white diagonal lines are supposed to be off limits to vehicles. Especially when adjacent to a handicap spot.

    ... and you're not supposed to exceed the speed limit, always come to a complete stop at stop signs, and never cross the gore.
