I bought a case of those a few years ago. They go bang but are not accurate in my AR.

 

Went to Crapela's and they were putting some ammo on the shelf. I asked about 45 and they guy had a case (Federal). I grabbed 5 boxes (50 round boxes) and headed to the register. Scans up at $49.99/box. I asked if that was correct and was told yes. I left it at the register and walked out. Don't need/want it that bad.

 

Local shop had 13 boxes of Wolf 5.45 (30rds per box). Picked up those plus 4 boxes of Monarch 5.45 (20rds/box) from Academy (most you can get due to ammo rationing). Last night I bought 700rds of 5.45 online. I should be good to go on this caliber for awhile now.

Also today at the gun show, I picked up a mag for my Colt 1903 Hammerless, and an unconverted Saiga in .223.

So far this month, I've gotten a Vepr 12, a Winchester 62A, traded a KS7 for a PSA KS47 and the above. My wallet is screaming!

Fyi ar15discounts.com has ballistic advantage stripped lowers for $82 shipped. I ordered one today.
Pretty sure they are just aero lowers with the BA logos but I like their rollmark better. And I have a free FFL so it was worth it to me.

 

Sounds like a good deal. I’m looking at extra parts and thinking order a lower. I broke it to my wife today that next year I’m building an AR10 so I’ll be accumulating parts she took it well lol

 

Once you start ordering parts tells her it would be wasting money not to finish the build bc a half built gun is useless. It's worked for me before.

That won’t work to well with her she knows how many there are and would tell me I have plenty until it’s finished. Nice thought though.
