I have 3 replacement windows I ordered, never used if anyone is interested. Original packaging, 2 of which were never opened. Trying to sell local, Pa thread first. $150/per or all 3 for $400

Great to be back in PA with the family this week, although we’re in Missouri visiting my dad this weekend. I went for a nice bike ride on the Pennypack Trail on Thursday. I always forget how beautiful that trail and the surrounding land are. As a bonus, I spotted one of the Montgomery County Park Ranger Tacomas as I passed by Lorimer Park.

 

Nice pics, looks like the trail was crushed limestone? Mountain bikes?

 

I’m on that trail weekly. Love it!

it’s all just crushed gravel.

 

Does anyone need stock 2.5 gen headlights?

Brought home something useful today, air conditioner built in 1952. It must weigh all of 120 pounds, after some clean up it started right up. Hadn't been used in decades probably. Quieter running in the garage with covers off than the modern one in my living room.


The controls are under the lid. There are 2 filters in the slots. You can turn the round grill to direct the air.

Worked until 2, Brandon (14) and I went to brother joes place … he helped push mow under trees as joe and I weed whacked for 2 hours….. then the boys rode around some on the quads as joe and i hopped on the Kubotas to mow grass…. Yes the grass that Christian and I did earlier in the week. Ended up mowing into the darkness and even got rained on… had about an hour to go yet….

 

Yesterday, I had to drive almost 2 hours to Lebanon, PA to find a riding mower that was in stock after Tractor Supply canceled my online order for one.

The Tacoma handled the 1200lb trailer and 500lb mower pretty well, but it was definitely noticeable going up and down any hills.

Addie is a big fan of the new toy!

 

I'll have to find some pictures but I've seen some brush units made out of old jeeps. Thought they would only be used as parade pieces but I've seen them working as well.

EDIT: I knew it wasn't too far away. See them a lot more in Berks county than down here

 

One I saw was just some random dude in a metallic green Jeep from around the same year as that one
