Put on TC bed stiffeners, mounted a 60” hi lift and shovel to the CBI rack, unboxed my SCS ray 10s in gunmetal grey and but them next to the deavers… just impatiently awaiting ADS to finish my shocks

I got the same exact ones you have. Went on smooth, had a bubble in each big letter on one side for one day and it disappeared in the sun. I have also applied Mequirs Hybrid Ceramic wax over them with no ill results whatsoever. That red color had to go!

More prep for the incoming RLD Canopy.

Completed cubby water / dustproofing. Installed mikwilla's cubby caps, pulled apart inverter side cubby and sealed plug unit to faceplate, and faceplate to cubby. Installed butyl tape between cubbys and bed. All nice and sealed up! Short of the tailgate gaps and pending tailgate seal there, have got this thing as water and dust tight as I imagine it will ever be.

Then ran 7 wire harness for capper from inside cubby junction box to under the hood, all nice an zip tied and following factory harness routing.

Had some time so installed terminals, soldered, labeled, heat shrinked, and landed all the wires from the harness.

Got one spindle guesset done, other one probably sometime this week after work. Also re painted almost all of the front since everything was apart doing limit straps/cam and spindle guessets.

So this will be my last info dump regarding this issue, I am changing my stance on this armor. This has actually landed itself on the list of items I'll be selling organs for.

    Some points:
    • Your insurance company will/should cover your first stolen cat. They may put up a fight, but in the end will cover the theft.
    • Some insurance companies might not allow you to renew your policy following a catalytic converter theft type claim.
    • Anecdotally: there should be no reason that your insurance company refuses to replace the converter with an OEM version, if they attempt to do so all you need to do is request OEM parts just like any other claim and they should adhere to your request with minimal pushback.
    • THE KICKER: depending on specific vehicle there are reports of catalytic converters being backordered up to 3 months out. Most insurance policies do not cover more than 30 days of a rental car for any one claim. This means you've got potential to be driving around one loud taco for weeks.
I do believe this product to be worth the ticket price, especially as these converters stay hard-to-replace, I foresee thefts to increase before they decrease as people need these for their own vehicles in addition to theft for the metals.

The biggest change is definitely the noise once you get past 3000RPM. I doubt it's actually making any more power, but it sounds exciting! I didn't notice any change in gas mileage.
