not sure, there’s a few odd differences I have noticed between Canada and US. Like no backup sensors on trd sport in Canada, also no LED headlight upgrade available as an option. If it was an option I would have added them for sure.

I got the same ones in my Tacoma. I like them. Doesn't help in the Missi'ppi summer heat though. I installed mine when putting the seat jackers on.

So if anyone is buying these or considering these: best advice is to be able to move seat around. So loose/remove the seats screws so you can lift it up to get to the straps.

On my 2017 TRD OR access cab I got mud flaps and sill protectors already installed from factory.

I did on my 2021 trd sport premium as well. I didn’t think I was getting the sil protectors. Almost ordered some tufskinz. Glad I didn’t.

It’s an overpriced port added option. My region only had the matte black exhaust tip, which looks terrible IMO. Bought this chrome tip on FB for $40.

It varies by country. Mexico only gets the TRD Sport in either 2WD, or a Premium Sport 4WD. The premium over there doesn’t have backup sensors and JBL system but their trucks aren’t equipped with TSS which is a pro IMHO. TSS is annoying AF sometimes.

And pricing isn’t a whole lot different in their respective currencies. Just Toyota cheaping out like usual.

Out of curiosity, what annoys you about TSS? The only thing that ever bothered me was the radar cruise control which I always turn off the radar portion to have normal cruise control.

It reduces your customization options in terms of grille choices and replacing the windshield will be $2-300 more expensive because of that front camera behind the rear view mirror. Also, I dropped the sensitivity for the frontal collision warnings and still beeps like crazy when someone driving in front of me hits their brakes a bit too quick.

Half of your problem with the TSS "brake alert" is the fact that you're in Texas :p By far the craziest traffic I've been in as far as randomly going from 75+ to dead stop 3 times a day.

My brake alert happened today, seemed to be a malfunction because the car in front of me had over 2 car lengths between us and he didn't even tap his brakes. Hoping it was a one time occurrence.

I think I might do the same thing. Just put a down turned tip on it right after the muffler.

I’m used to the traffic. I don’t need my vehicle do the driving for me… I own that SOB. I love my truck, but sometimes it feels too modern so I use my 2008 Tacoma.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I've been wanting to change out the hardware on the gate cover for awhile, but couldn't find the right screw heads. This helps alot.
