plasty diping my wheels

last night i got a randome hair to pait my wheels. this is temp to see if i really like it or not but after doing it i really like it and is planning on having them powder coted but tell me what you guys think thanks.

 

Looks good, however what's the advantage of plasti-dip over regular black paint and clear coat?

I feel like this plasti-dip stuff is becoming a fad. I can see the next thread. "I plasti-dipped my kid"

i used plasti dip to see if i really want to keep them black

I guess cause you can just peel the plastidip off? I want to know as well.

 

Honestly, I kind of like them silver cause of the silver accents you have on your truck but if you are going to black more stuff out on the truck, then def keep the wheels black.

 

yeah you can get plastic dip off a lot easier than paint

 

yeah i think im going to paint my truck box black also and do a couple of other things black

Your truck and wheels look good as is, if you go with black wheels your truck would look better with no chrome accents. All chrome or all black.

 

Oh, and it looks good. If you can do bumpers that'd look sick. I'd keep the toolbox the way it is just to give it some contrast.

 

to make painting ur rims easy. just take note card and stick them in the rim lip,and go around. its easy imo

 

Personally I like the wheels better machined silver. It just looks meaner. I think the black kinda cheapens the look of the truck but if you like it than that's all that matters.

 

how easy does it peel off?

 

that would make it very easy good idea ill keep that in mind next time.

but i do like the look of the weels stock but i think i might keep them like this as long as i can
