Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

May be even worse being locked up front and I’m on 35s.

I haven’t looked into the Howe pump in too much detail. Does it increase the pressure to help turn? Would that make the seals more susceptible to leaking if so? It’d be nice to have some more power.

 

I’m locked up front now as well. But yeah it ups the pressure to help it turn. Technically yes that would make things more susceptible to leaking. But I feel shaft deflection is a bigger issue. Which is fixed with the slide rack

Howe pump is the solution. Just no oil filter relocation yet to fit it

For what it’s worth this truck was supposed to be a daily driver/camping truck. Not sure why I keep dumping money and parts into this land-yacht lol.

Did you drop the tank to box in behind it?
If so, what was the procedure?

 

I have the dirt king frame box and I had to remove my tank. It’s just two bolts and disconnect your fuel filler and disconnect your fuel pump.

 

I think pivots need to be minimum requirement for anything else at JD. Gotta get those, then it unlocks the skill trees: front suspension, steering, sua and accessory (gas tank, intanke, etc).

I'm working towards 100% completion with this RPG. Although the way Harry keeps adding DLCs and bonus content, it's hard to keep up.

 

Exactly, pretty simple, only thing we didnt plate was under cab which is because I didnt realize how far our frames were C channeled, will see how this feels and possible add more later on.

I've searched for videos on dropping the tank, to no avail. How does the filler and pump disconnect?

 

The major flex in the frame is not the back of the frame where you plated, there is just a lot of twist back there which you resolved with the X member you installed.

The frame plating in the back primarily prevents your frame from folding over your bump stops during a bottom out.

The major flex point in the frame is the slight “s” where it transitions from the bed to the cab.
