I am east coast where should I go to ask questions about RSI Smart Cap, I may want to get it before the snow flies. I am tired of my bak flip.

I close the tailgate first and then the back window. Otherwise the tailgate pulls the seal inward. It puts the seal in a more effective position without risk of tearing.

After reading most of this thread and trying to purchase the RSI cap I am leaning toward a fiberglass product. The lack of RSI availability sucks. The problem with getting accessories is bad. At least with a Leer, I can order Thule accessories. I would buy an RSI but there aren't any available.

Where is your cap on your bed? If it's too far back there's probably some conflict. I actually had to cut away part of the seal to allow the tailgate to get in on the corners. It works great and so far no water.

The quality of the RSI compared to leer or ARE to me in my mind doesn't even compare. But that's up to you to decide. Maybe if you need something right now you could go with a soft top. There's plenty here used or new and you could resell later. Just a suggestion.

You might want to call around and research websites. I got mine shipped at a lower price from Arkansas to Idaho, then I could from Utah to Nevada. I have family in both places. Backwoods outdoor mods., I just looked and they don't have one. Call and see, just in case

Assembly is easy...I was quoted 4 hrs at $80 hr.
I did it in 2 hrs with a helper

The wait for an RSI may be less than a Leer. My buddy ordered a Leer and was told 6-8 weeks. 19 weeks for delivery and wasn’t correct, he ordered wing windows and received slideres with no eta for change out. I looked at ARE HDs and couldn’t get a good ETA. Found the RSI thanks to this forum, lucked out and ordered through Offroad Alliance and built it this week! Best of luck finding what works best for you, unfortunately in this market anything is a long wait.

Excited to have received my SmartCap from Offroad Alliance. Logistics for freight currently is crazy right now for everyone, but it all worked out and got it installed way sooner than initially expected, including having to reach out to RSI for the wiring. Looking forward to the load bars in Jan and we’ll transfer our tent over from our 100 series as we continue our mild build out.

That looks great! I ordered the same one and just got my decked installed in the bed for it! I'm excited for the rsi cap to come in! How do you like your setup so far with the decked storage and rsi cap?

Added 3 48cm HardKorr tri-color LED lights today (white, warm white, orange)… the lights are magnetic and hold to the SmartCap perfectly. Very bright and even light distribution inside the cap… and the orange is fantastic for keeping the bugs away when you need light.

That looks legit! What power source are you using? As in where are you drawing it from?

I'm planning on getting one of these caps ordered in the near future. I already sealed the plastic side bed rail caps(currently have a Bakflip).
How the heck does the front rail come off? That's the only place I still have water coming in from. I also sealed the two front corner gaps, but the front bed rail is the only remaining culprit...I think.

I have a Blue Sea Systems panel mounted next to AC outlet. Panel is wired with 8ga from aux battery under hood for my fridge. LEDs pos/neg is fused & soldered behind panel.

If you don’t want to hardwire, the lights come with cigarette plug and can also be run off of rechargeable battery packs.

Awhh i see! I actually have a very similar setup, not the blue sea one though. I've been using it for my fridge setup. (cheaper Amazon brand). Great idea!

Did you hard wire it to the on/off switch via a relay?
