Buy a 05-11 stock headunit (~$30 - ebay), The hazard bezel will fit the dasaita unit and your factory hazard fits the older bracket. Thats how I fixed the same issue in mine.

So I ordered the new wiring harness and it did nothing. I plugged everything in and o luck. Wouldn’t even turn on. Plugged the old wiring in and it was fine. I found the antenna I was missing for Wi-Fi so I got CarPlay to work but now I have to figure out how to get my camera up. Link for what I got but I think it may be the wrong one. Emailing Dasaita

Disregard the climate control knob missing. I took it off to gain access to the radio.

Interesting I would give it another go in case it wasn’t Connected all the way. I’m sore it was but maybe bad harness. Also not sore you even need the wife antenna. I have no idea where mine is and it broke anyway

Does anyone have a direct contact for Iris? I messaged Dasaita on eBay but they kind of go around in circles and I wasn't talking with the same person last night. Hoping Iris can help me out so i can get this canbus ordered.

    In Reguards to the harnesses...

If you have a non-jbl navigation stereo with the pioneer attachment underneath.

    Order CB-004 that's mine.. 2015 Tacoma TRD.

    If JBL ... CB-005

I hope that helps you out!

So Is your system a non JBL navigation?
Did you have to pull out a smaller pioneer unit?

Yes, you have the exact one as me!

I will have mine arriving on Monday. I talked my buddy into filming a YouTube install video. So, I will be uploading one very soon.

Maybe the cable or the canbus was bad?

I will report back Monday when I attempt to install mine

I have the non-JBL, rearview mirror camera 2013 flavor. I ordered a canbus adapter with my unit. I was able to make it work both with and without the canbus adapter. I run it without at the moment and have complete SWC functionality, What I had to make sure to do was in the "Factory" settings (code 126), there is an option to select the correct CANBUS interface for the vehicle. I don't remember the exact one I eventually ended up using, but it was not intuitive. My understanding is the greatest value for the CANBUS adapter is in the case where the HU has the rearview camera and the provided adapter allows an easier interface (all bets off for the rearview mirror flavor). Once you have the correct CANBUS activated (or deactivated), you can go the "Car" setting and set each SWC key for your individual taste. Hope that is helpful.

Exactly I had retrofitted my 2013 to run a 2015. The buttons he was raking about the regular steering wheel I’m a 2103 doesn’t have the 2915 has a few more buttons and as you noted the screen. Pre 2014 I’m should be fine. Post can bus for the win. I ran that as I wanted both mirror and HU to work.

Can anyone tell me how to update the interface of the Dasaita units? I was able to update the MAX 10 system and MCU - but I'm not a bit fan of the interface. Going through this forum, there was some different versions - but I can't figure out where to download them. I like the one that shows the Toyota logo on the Home Screen, not just at startup. Thanks!

Go to Google play on the head unit and search 'car launcher'. There's quite a few of them.

Anyone using a Bluetooth obdii dongle with these units? Can it really track fuel economy? Similar to the standalone obdii scangauge?

I have a Bluetooth OBD2 device that I use with my phone on a regular basis. It works great and tracks fuel economy along with pretty much everything else! I use the OBD fusion app (see photo for icon). Theoretically, it would work on the HU since it’s android based.
