Have my 2000 Tacoma tentatively for sale in Norwalk CT> put on FB and just get a bunch of bullcrap replies if its for sale, if i will take half price ETC.

2000 Tacoma Prerunner v6 with extended cab, automatic, 158k miles, NO RUST-NONE(southern truck and then garage kept up here since 2016), all original body in silver, overall good condition i'd say. Burns no oil and runs well, has some new parts on there, new wheels and tires from a gen 3, newer brakes. T belt done 35k miles ago

Looking for $8k being a rear wheel drive the value not nearly there for 4x4, but the practicality of a truck still is which is what i used it for. Reason for sale i buying a new one to use as a daily, this was driven once or twice a week max. Don't even really want to sell it, but will to let go for the right buyer and as you can see my space is now limited to a garage and parking spot.

 

Holy shit that is stupid clean for a 2000 truck.

 

I sold a car private sale once. What a headache. The car wasn't advertised online. People had to see the car to get my number. I had people calling not even knowing what kind of car it was, trying to offer me half or even only a 3rd of my asking price. I gave up after a couple months. Then randomly someone saw the car on CarDomain and flew in from Tennessee to buy it without even negotiating the price.

I only give a rip because this is how I "replace" my tires. People (YOU! ) buy a truck and then rip the wheels and tires off pretty quickly. I'm good with the tires for what I do with it, so I just buy the new wheels and tires and sell the old ones

Haha thanks, it was actually very dirty in those photos, covered in light dust and bird poop. But agree, i'll just wait for the right buyer to come along, funny i will have (2) LUNAR Toyota's come monday-Lunar Mist and then Lunar Rock; might be photoshoot worthy.

Damn i might have to take these and put on my truck above, current ones are cool but dont fit properly and can snag the spaces off. I'm in norwalk, you free tomorrow?

nah if I stack up another set of 4 tires in the garage before I clean it, my wife WILL kill me.

Hate it now, need to rethink purchases for this very reason.

 

The thought of selling an enthusiast car terrifies me. When I stold my STi, I sold it to a Subaru dealership. I likely left $1,500-2,000 on the table, but the thought of a Ken Block wannabe going full boost into a tree entered my mind more than once.

 

Most of the people who knew what the car was only wanted to drop a bigger engine in it for the track. The guy from Tennessee actually rebuilt the car to showroom condition.

 

Now try a 4K Jeep Grand Cherokee. Got 2200 at trade and didn’t think twice.
