We haul boat stuff about two to three times a month. Not too much, just up to four 5-gal jugs of gas, a couple of coolers for us + one for the fish, a battery when we need to swap out the trolling motor battery, rods n reels of course, etc. in the bed. The tackle bags and life vests travel in the cab. One of the best things is a HF Apache 2800 waterproof case for the depth finder and boat key. It floats for about 5 minutes, but we haven't had to test that out yet.

Other than that, sometimes I have to hotshot some book deliveries for work.

Did you make your rod holders? I have 2 7ft 1 pieces that are kind of a pain to deal with sometimes.

i use my truck for my part-time job as a trash collector. i go around these apartments and pick up trash. it only takes a couple hours and it's a good workout. it's been tough lately...we are struggling for employees even though we pay great.
also been excessive amounts of trash lately....:argue:

Mainly haul my bikes, my camper, and my enclosed trailer (black and red). The white trailer is rarely used, but i keep it around for storage and the occasional moving a friend, and mainly tow it with my dads duramax as its 6000lbs empty. I also have a car trailer and a car dolly I use regularly. I'd say 35% of this trucks life is spent hauling, and 50% of that is either off-road or on dirt.

Why would you put anything in the bed? It might get scratched.

Mine is normal household crap. Had it a total of a week before I had to go pick up a bed for our guest bedroom and the frame sat on the tailgate cap. Dented and scratched the crap out of it. I have a habit of overkill on tying stuff down and keeping things super tight.

Beach chairs, awnings, coolers, etc on a normal basis. Golf clubs are a permanent cargo.

I'll tow my boat maybe 2-4 times a summer to other lakes to fish. Other than that twice a month to the landfill with a load of crap in my utility trailer, plus an odd job, or 2 hauling a mixer and equipment. During the winter months i haul my snowmobile north a few times.

Lately, its been construction debris and building materials.

Oddest haul was 12 foot long soffit panels and 20 foot long 2x10s. Didn't use the bed.
