    Those are so cool. I remember when I was younger I would watch The Crocodile Hunter on TV and he always drove one of those with a big cab on the back all over the place.

    -back seat looks like shit
    -shifter looks like shit, and is automatic instead of stick
    -engine probably not that hard to swap considering a) it's Toyota, a lot of shit including electrical connectors is probably the same and interchangeable, b) the engine bay has medium room, c) the chassis (4th gen T4R) already came with a belt-timed V8 anyway

    nevermind
    if it was rolled then there isn't much point in trying to make it sleeper OEM+

    The previous owned rolled it and it was totaled; Mike bought it this way at an insurance auction with a salvage title. I have pictures of this truck from 2017 when it still had the original 4.0L/automatic, and it was fully functional (Ran good, cold A/C, etc); The firetruck in the background was another insurance auction purchase, originally owned by a department in Queens, New York. The fire department wrecked it when they rolled it over, and the airbags deployed; The firetruck had less than 4,000 miles on it, but insurance deemed it a total loss and wrote it off. It has less than 4,000 original miles despite being a 2012 model (It's a Ford F450 or F550; I forget which), and cost about $300K new; Mike bought the firetruck for $20K cash and plans to turn it into an overlanding camper!
