Got mine from AliExpress for cheap but took a long time to arrive, Amazon has them too but a tad pricier.

 

Highly recommend it! It’s well worth the money and how the truck should’ve came from the factory. I got the LT w alternator agm charge upgrade. The guy who did mine was Nick in Tennessee and he was super cool and nice dude

Installed my eibach stage 1 lift and AAL at a friends shop, would have been much harder without the lift!

no it is an Ontario knife company rat 5 pretty much the same knife my coworker has an esse 5. I love that knife its sharp as hell and stays sharp!

I’ve noticed that the OEM decals like to chip around the edges once they’re a few years old. Guessing it’s a combination of carwash scrubbing, drying, and the seasonal temperature changes that brittles the vinyl.

 

If you want to prevent shackle theft, I recommend you have someone in a truck tug on the shackle with a winch. This will tighten the shackle and make it physically impossible to loosen with bare hands. To loosen, stick an allen wrench through the hole and twist… the wrench will give you better leverage.

 

Dealership installed Llumar ceramic on mine. I love the results. 30% in the front, limo in the rear.

One of my air stem valve covers went missing, so I stopped at an auto parts place to replace them all because they are green, which I thought was a very strange color for valve covers on a new truck. Auto parts dude told me green valve covers mean there is nitrogen in your tires. Why the heck would Toyota put nitrogen in the tires of new vehicles? Is this a thing?

And isn't the whole nitrogen-in-tires deal kind of a waste? I mean, it's a truck not a race car. Do I get rid of it (the nitrogen, not the truck)? Just add regular air on top of it when I need some?

I think nitrogen doesn’t escape as quickly from your tires. It costs more to fill your tires with nitrogen that’s for sure.


If you’re gonna air up and down it’s a waste of time and money to have them filled with nitrogen. Yes it’s a thing that all manufacturers do.

 

Costco uses green caps as well for nitrogen inflation. Nitrogen is more stable than air with temperature fluctuations, so your psi won't drop or increase as much when it gets cold or hot.
