So my basic build idea is something that’s will be a good daily driver for the city(Nashville) and an off-roader for the weekend. I’m planning on doing tires, wheels and suspension. My price point is honestly flexible but I’d like to stay with in a good medium range. I’m just trying to find good recommendations on places to shop around for all three in the same site. If not just some good sites everyone here uses.

I'm guessing this 6'10" is the size of your carcass? If so you'll hate a Tacoma unless you buy a double cab pull the front seats & sit in the back ones

BTW if you do attempt fitting in one don't get a sunroof that tightens things up even more

I'm 6'4" 220lb & my right lower leg rides on the center console & after awhile gets painful & my left knee is up against the drivers door switch panel, the steering wheel even @ full extension is still 3" farther away than I like (Yea I've seen that Mickey mouse spacer) on trips longer than 3 hours continued driving I just want to scream it's such a pain in the ass living with

So I take my Crew cab Dodge on trips over 4 hours.....err Ram as they call themselves now

I took it to mean the truck cant be taller than 6'10. I assume for garage limitations.

If you’re doing daily driver, don’t go doomsday prepped/overland/mall crawler. Lift and do tires if you must but I’d just slap a bed cover of your choice on it and call it a day. You’re gonna be off-roading probably less than 10% (more like 5%) of the time so don’t build a dedicated off-roader for a daily driver. Just an opinion.

There’s a million websites about Tacoma’s out there, but here’s a few I’ve been to. I’m not doing a lot to my Tacoma so I don’t have a lot of interest in most of the stuff out there. Finding a site with everything you need will be tough. *For example* Icons/Fox Racimg/Kings lift/shocks are some of the best but they don’t sell tires and rims; so to get the right stuff for yourself, I’d highly suggest looking around and doing research instead of buying whatever grab-bag package deal you find on a single site. Again, just an opinion.
