CB install (Different CB placement/mount)

    That is a grounding issue.

    Nice work, thanks for the pics and write up!!;)

    Be cautious of the overhead tree limb height's you pass under so you don't bend the mount, maybe get a light duty spring or quick fold over. You don't want to wreck your hard work.

    Location looks ok, Try not to back under those low limbs, because the antenna will hit the cab and possibly snap off. Maybe have a little coax slack in case you need to slide it one way or the other to clear the cab for backing up, looks like you might have some anyways. I mounted mine to the far passengers side of the bed for that reason.

    i had considered that location too when i was installing mine. for my taste, however, the CB sticks up to high. but i am glad to see that it is a possibililty and it worked for you. good job :)
