Corporate cancelled my order

I ordered a TRD off road from a Morgantown, WV dealer last week that was scheduled to be built in September. They called this morning to tell me that corporate cancelled that allocation. Has this happened to anyone else?

 

It happens unfortunately. Also there was a news article stating Toyota was cutting production next month by 40% because of the chip shortage.

My 08 was totaled 11/2020 didn’t want a 3rd gen. Pickings were slim and grabbed a 12 TXpro trd. Miss the 08 but really enjoy the 12.

Ur intent was written up

the dealer fowarded the committment

U most defitelygot cancelled

IF U put ‘ dibs ‘ on what U wanted verbally

the dealer threw a hail mary for the vehicle U wanted coming of the production line

out the factory to be distributed to a region

to dealers that have high % sales

Ur dealers allocation more than likely got passed over

U very well might find that vehicle U hoped to get...........................in another location

 

Yeah! I was told this past Friday that my order was canceled. It was scheduled to be built today

When China invades Taiwan, expect things to get much worse. It would be very convenient for China to make its move while the USA is distracted by other matters.

 

Found another one for same price but no advanced technology Taking it regardless and look forward to being part of the taco crew!
