Just got mine installed yesterday! Thank you to Luke at @truckalter for the awesome deal and quick shipping. I took out the Trail Edition boxes to opt for more room (plus they were leaking) But for those of you wondering this cover will 100% work with the trail edition boxes installed.20210731_172126.jpg 20210731_172031.jpg 20210731_172140.jpg

Anyone run into this issue where the crossmember appears to be separating from the cover? Looks like it is just an adhesive but still...

    Hi all,

I've been kicking around the idea of getting a Stance and reached out to Customer service for more info. Here is the document they provided on how to remove the Stance anchor points. I initially did not want to install the anchor points because I was afraid they would be difficult to remove if I went a different direction or sold my vehicle. Hope this helps.

I installed my Lomax Stance just over 2 months ago and I love it. But I'm wondering how to possibly correct a small issue that's not related to the cover itself. The piece that goes across the top of the bed at the very front of the bed is slightly higher than my side rails on my truck, which makes the very front section of my cover sit with a slight tilt.

When I was installing I took that piece off to remove the factory rubber piece that goes with the factory tonneau and the cut side rail caps. When I did that I remember looking to see if the screw holes were adjustable at all to lower that pice, but they are not. So it seems the way it screws on is fixed, and forces the piece to sit a tiny bit high. It's actually a tiny bit higher on the passenger side than the driver side.

Is there any way to fix this, or is it just a matter of that front wall of the bed being slightly high, causing that piece to have to sit that high too? It seems to be a cosmetic thing more than anything, because it does not seem to be causing any leaks up there. But man is it annoying sometimes to see that raised front edge on the cover and the uneven seam it creates.

Here are some pictures to show what I mean.

How hard did you have to pry to get it off (if you did)? Did it leave a residue/glue behind?

I don’t mind the branding at all, but it seems like being a raised metal piece it could scuff the finish when the first panel is flipped back. I may consider moving it to the little front piece where the strap clips are. Plenty of hot days left to do while the adhesive could be softer.

I think it left a little residue but I was able to rub it off. I'll have to look when I get home this weekend. I pulled it off cold, more slicing the adhesive rather than prying. If you want to save the adhesive I think heating might help, or use fishing line like people do for emblem removal.

Is the Stance version also just as easily removed as the regular Tri Fold?

If I remember right, the regular trifold has clips at the front end, while the Stance has 2 nut fastened clamps. You'll need a wrench to take off the Stance, but it should come off pretty fast. The fact that it can flip up and give you access to nearly the whole bed without removal was the selling point for me.

Pumped like Hanz and Franz! Ordered mine Sunday or Monday. The price is unbeatable. Have tried twice to give a local company my business, but they were way overpriced. Higher than online, plus tax, and required installation fees for warranty claims. Whatever. Have seen quite a few folks get toppers for 2000-3500. Basic topper with the lowest quality was 3500 plus shipping, install, etc. Had to do a hard pass. And of course it may take 6-9 months.

Mine actually did the exact thing. I reached out to AGRI-Cover and they told me it looked like I installed it to low. I replied with pictures of the Tacoma having a rear secure bolt and told them that was physically impossible and they have not replied as of yet.

    (Email Replied)
AGRI-Cover wants me to put a level on Tailgate to ensure all is square before they determine the fix for this issue.

My Lomax from @truckalter arrived 3 days after I ordered, waiting until labor day weekend to install.

Is there a possibility that you will be making them for previous 2016? Ive been watching this thread for awhile and this is the first Ive read that only 2016 or newer.

So I just reinstalled my weathertech brand Tonneau cover, which is just a rebranded LoMax, On my new Tacoma.

It was actually on my old Tacoma and I took it off before trading it in. My new Tacoma came with the Toyota Tacoma factory installed one.

I sold the factory one with all the parts and accessories on craigslist, we swapped bed rail in caps, and I put the LoMax back on.

My observations after now having both: The reason I kept the Lomax is because it is lighter, lower profile, seems to keep water out just a bit better, and it can more easily be stored in the bed if you want to take it off completely. It can also be accessed from either side unlike the factory brand.

For me the biggest advantage is just the reduced weight. It is so much easier to take off and move around with one person.
