Soooo, guess who got the flat bed??

I was heading east on main st on the right lane because there was heavy traffic on the left lane. I was on the right lane where traffic was not so heavy. I was doing approx. 10-15 mph when all of a sudden this guy pulled in front of me. There was no possible way for me or anybody to stop in time. This guy was heading west on the same street, he got on the middle lane, which has double solid yellow line on each side, and waited for somebody to let him cross the street. Like I said, the left lane (east bound) was packed with traffic, almost bumper to bumper and I was driving on the right lane (east bound). So apparently somebody from the left lane (east bound) stopped so this guy could cross, I did not see him coming, nor did he. I don't know why he tried to make that illegal turn when the fucking light was just about 50 feet away where he could have made either a left turn of a U-turn. I guess there was a lot of traffic for him to fucking wait.

    Anyways, on with the carnage.

That being said, in the future, I will not buy anything less than a Tacoma. This experience really brought me much closer to the truck.

    Any thoughts? Advice?

You truck held up pretty well against the full-size Chevy.

Wonder how an ARB bumper would have fared in this situation?

thank you guys, the truck is not totaled at all, it still runs like a champ, even the headlight works...lol. I am gonna take it to the shop on wednesday and see what they say. I have a scooped hood in my garage, it is oem but it is black (not sandpearl black). Do you guys think i can get them to paint and install that one instead of fixing and repainting the nonscooped one?

everyone would have died, but the bumper would have been fine. Those things are smelted in the tears of orphans.

Well at least the light bar is still good. That sucks man I would have beat that guys ass and then the guys who let him turn. Hope you get it fixed good. I am just the type that if any damage is done I just assume have it totaled due to shady repair men and the worry it will have problems later on. Hope the best.

think he has ever taken the 2wd chevy off road lol Look at all the mud that fell out of the bottom of the truck
