Yeah cool, I could see it had a fish but you didn't mention it was the dead one tossed out. I kind of figured! Nice!

Yes! Went to a junk yard in S.C. last week to snag a shell and the guy had only wrecked Toyota's, mostly late model.

No, the stock one had small round nuts, not sure if they were molded in when made or pressed in after it was made. I didn't try and get them out.

An older farmer friend, haven't seen him in a long time came by the store Saturday. He said I need some help, a cylinder liner dropped down on his Perkins diesel engine in his tractor and it locked up. He had the gears off the crank and the cam gear, both had teeth missing. He wanted me to weld them back and grind them for him.

I laughed, I said I can't do that, they are hard as a rock and the weld won't stick and they have to be precise. He said who can weld them? I said nobody

Something for the brick industry, not sure what though. I've made several over the years, only 4 this trip.

Big German company. I'd never heard of it either, but I figured it might be bigger than my little podunk upbringing exposed me to.

So I wandered into the garage today, no immediate concerns, la dee da --- and ---

    BLOODY HELL, WHAT'S THAT SMELL!!
    :puke:
Remember Saturdays 1952 air conditioner? I ran it for at least an hour, it made condensate as it should, it accumulated in the rear (outside) pan as expected.

Didn't consider that for the 40 years +/- that this sat in a garage it was home to 300 generations of mice. I cleaned out the nests but didn't think about the dried mouse pee... Which was covered in water all (hot) weekend and turned back into pee it seems... :puke:

Simple Green, scrub, rinse, repeat. I'm leaving a fan on it overnight to insure the magic stuff stays in the 69 year old electric parts.
