Same here. My SR only came with one badge the 4x4 one. The TSS emblem got tinted. Looks better without badges/emblems imo. I have de-badged every vehicle I've owned

 

I want to do something about the big ugly badge on the front but I'm not sure how it will effect the TSS. How did the tint affect yours?

 

I had the same reservations. I used vivid dark smoke vinyl. I haven't had an issue with my TSS whatsoever. It has actually saved my bacon twice from hitting deer (albeit i was going around 25mph both times). This winter the snow/sleet piled on top didn't seem to effect it either. My truck is mainly stock.i wanted a different grille (that wasn't a pro) without worries about TSS. Some tint and 4 grille lights and the sr grille looks ok to me.

 

Heres a better picture. So far about 15 months of daily driving and no issues with TSS.

That looks so much better. Thank you for the info. I'm looking at switching to a grill like this for mine. It will retain the badge and TSS.

I agree with de-badging the truck > blacked out badges.

 

is your truck an auto or M/T?

 

just ordered these bad boys.. but funny thing is i haven't taken delivery of my Black taco yet lol ontop of all these other things like floor matts, side steps
