This AC refrigerant label on my 2015 Tacoma has started to peel up, so I went to the local Toyota dealer to get another one and they seem to be unable to find the right label. Would anyone happen to know Toyota's part number for this?

The label that azzwethingweiz above referenced is for a Nippon Denso AC system, but my truck has a Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems AC unit. That might not seem significant, but the amount of refrigerant recommended on both labels is different. I just got a label to replace it from my local dealer and it is the wrong label too - and Toyota's parts guide is of no help at all since it contains roughly drawn outlines of the labels instead of actual images of them. Is there any way Toyota could make this more difficult? Anyway, I am about to declare surrender and take your advice to go the super glue route.

If you can get the label off clean and intact. @rreed1900, it's often possible to use double-stick film to re-adhere it. For further protection one can overlaminate it with clear film.

As an example, here's a label on the B&D Workmate I inherited from my brother and restored to a different color. The label had a bit of its adhesive left, so I stuck it to a larger piece of double-sided pressure sensitive film (I get mine in larger sheets at the art supply store, 'cause I'm always finding uses for it), trimmed it to the label's size, and reapplied it to the Workmate.

I've done the same thing with the Finnish moose road sign I use as my avatar. This one was removed from a returned corporate PC, and all the adhesive came off. It's stuck down as good as new with the double-adhesive film. In this case, I overlaminated it with a heavier single-side pressure sensitive film and trimmed closely to protect the sticker.

Clear heavy duty packing tape, over, press and your done. Plus take a picture with your cell phone and store it there.

Yes, this basic idea works, @wmgeorge. And it's easy-peasy, too. My experience with films from the art supply store are better, primarily because those films are designed for longer life. Packing tape doesn't have particularly good weatherability or UV-resistance (think about the older shipping boxes we all have where the pressure-sensitive adhesive gets crumbly and the tape falls off). As long as the label is protected, it will be OK for a number of years.

Can someone confirm where this label is on a 2014 Tacoma? Until this was posted here I never noticed that it seems to be missing on my truck. No sign of it ever being appllied under the hood anywhere, if that's where it usually is. Thanks in advance.

I think the adhesive and/or clear tape idea is great. But I'm the kind of guy who plunges down a rabbit hole when I see it - and I just wanted Toyota to acknowledge that yes they once used a Delphi AC system that but they don't have it anymore. So I called Toyota's "Brand Engagement" number and spoke to a product representative about it. No one there knows whether Toyota ever used AC systems from Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems. The person I spoke to acknowledged that it wouldn't be wise to use the new label since it gives different min and max refrigerant levels and recommends a different grade of oil for the compressor. So I am now ready to punt and just tape up the old label and get on with life. But here is something to contemplate -- if they don't have a label for the Delphi Harrison AC system, would they also not have replacement parts for it?
I bought the truck in September of 2014 as soon as the 2015 model became available. My best guess is that some of the early units used the Delphi AC and then Toyota switched to the Denso AC system. So those of us with the original AC system just have to hope that the Delphi system never dies.

I bought my 2015 in nov 2014. I have the same sticker and had to replace my condenser, vacuum and recharge. It works great now and didn’t blow up with using the info on the sticker.

Don't know if this helps, but the unit behind the glove box where the fan and cabin filter are says "Delphi" on it. (2014 Tacoma) If I'm not mistaken, it was, or maybe still is, a subsidiary of General Motors.

I think I can see where the label was installed on my truck: on the large plastic filler piece above the radiator, there is a slight difference in the plastic on the far left/pass side. It's a square section that different that the rest of it: either from a little fading or intentionlly smoother to accomodate the label; hard to tell. I'm not surprised mine is missing, it doesn't look like much would stick to that plastic and stay put. It's surprising everyone's isn't missing.
