Thank you for an actual answer. Mags may be more expensive, or unavailable in the future.

At least this is reminding me I need to get more mags. I seem to stay focussed on AR mags I need to look more at Glock mags in the 33 round variety I only have a few

The more mags, the merrier. :)

If you are under attack, do you start with the AR, then go to the Glock? Honest question, coz I don't think about things like that. Perhaps I should. ?

Hopefully I'm never in that situation. I have an AR9? I guess that's what you would call it. A shrunk down AR 9mm that uses Glock mags. It is what I keep for home protection and, perhaps, to carry in the truck when we go camping. I dont actually own a Glock yet but it's on the list. I just always seem to concentrate more on supplies for the other rifles instead of this pistol.

Stocking up on mags is a must. I have a huge box full of ar, ak and glock mags just in case.

I hope you, or me, are never in that situation either. "Plan for the worst and hope for the best". An AR9 is on my wish list, More money is on my wish list too. ;)

Having been through 2 attempted home invasions a pistol is what I could get to the quickest. While my Wife stayed on the phone with 911. Both ended with the person being taken to jail by the Sheriff

Yes Sir the latter is always on mine. I wanted something compact Icould carry when we travel but also something I can get my wife to handle easier than a regular hand gun. I can tell ya it's also just plain damn fun to shoot. There are many options out there I chose this one because everything on it is just like a regular AR so there is familiarity. It isn't an AR adapted to shoot 9mm though so the ovrall frame is a bit smaller and the 8" barell is fun

Magpul ms1 sling came in. Coyote brown. It's on the 16in. I was surprised how much lighter it was than the "fde" on on the 11.5 gun.
Also made my own "ranger bands" from a old bike tube.

I live in the middle of nowhere too! Never, that I know of has there been a home invasion anywhere near me.
IF it should happen I will grab my Mossie 500, loaded with my handloads. If I get the 1st shot off, perp will be DRT.

I doubt that would ever happen here, but you never know.

I finally found some 12 round USP 45 mags in stock for not ridiculous pricing. Ordered the last three they had.

Nah, drag 'em to the middle of my section. Let the buzzards and coyotes take care of it. Might have to hose off some blood at my house.
