I would have to disagree with your reasoning regarding the possibility of visiting aliens. While I don’t truly believe aliens are abducting rednecks from the hills of West Virginia. I believe it is entirely possible for sufficiently advance life forms to traverse the cosmos to come visit us. There are several reasons I believe it is possible.
First off, humans are very young when compared to the cosmos. There is likely life somewhere else that started much earlier than us and has probably advanced at a faster rate than us.
Second is the issue of human beings rarely working together for a common goal. Imagine where we would/could be if the entire planet worked together and invested most of its resources on technology and space travel.
The last thing is, we can not assume that the laws of physics as human beings understand them are unable to be manipulated in ways we can not even imagine. As Arthur C Clarke stated "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.". I believe in the grand scheme that Human beings are too young to even understand what we don’t understand.
For a moment though, let’s say you are correct and the vastness of space is too great for a life form to traverse. Then the aliens would likely send their own space probes and drones to examine other planets much as we do in our own solar system. You may say an alien probe or drone doesn’t count as alien life visiting us, but I would disagree.
In the end though, I would have to agree that most likely we are not being visited by aliens simply because we are not really that interesting. It’s kinda like going to the zoo. You’ve seen the monkeys and giraffes a few times, but do you really want to drive hours to see them again and again.
    Just my two cents.

I'm betting there are some of the laws of physics as we know them that are indeed absolute and can not be escaped regardless of advanced nature of the aliens.

Also, the absence of gravity changes the human body in dramatic ways in rapid fashion. I assume this would also be true for aliens as well but may be overcome with advanced tech.

I also believe going back to the moon or to Mars is a waste of money, both are dead rocks. I do favor sending probes to the moons of the outer planets which hold the best chance of finding life outside earth that we might be able to discover.

I think we need to go to Mars simply to keep the spirit of space exploration going if nothing else. One day this planet will experience an extinction level event, and we will likely see it coming. If our main focus has been nothing more than sending probes into space, I fear it would be too late to come up with a viable plane of action to save the human race, be it a generational fleet of ships to get people off the planet, or other technologies developed during the course of exploration that would save us. I do realize the cost of human space exploration is outlandish, but I still believe it is money well spent.

The moon needs to be explored further, albeit a dead rock. Why does it always face the earth? Why is there recorded history pre-moon?

Mars needs to be explored. If nothing more than a base camp/stepping stone to further explore the solar system. Lack of atmosphere, low gravity, and possible mining opportunities cannot be denied. Scientists are now claiming there is ice there. If it’s actually frozen water then it can also be used when split into hydrogen and oxygen.

That’s if we aren’t already using reverse engineered and/or stolen alien tech to explore already. Or maybe some dreamt up tech of our own. Skunk Works made some amazing craft using pencil, paper, ingenuity, lots of money, and some brass balls. We can’t imagine what they can do now with supercomputer modeling.

As I already said, an alien race would likely send probes.

We couldn't live long on Mars without resupply from earth. Maybe we extend life a few years on a Mars colony if earth gets smacked by a large object but we could probably survive longer under ground on earth in such a situation since we can stock pile much more survival supplies. Now if the object is very large then underground Would'nt be an option, but hauling supplies to Mars would mean only a small handful of people could go and returning to earth would'nt be an option so man might survive a few more years. I say man but most likely the colony would comprise mostly of young women and maybe a couple of lucky men.

I don't think Mars is an option but best to accepted our fate and build many unmanned craft, filling them with our history, culture and DNA then send them into space in all direction.

I wasn’t thinking of a scenario where we would wait it out and return, I was thinking more along the lines of leaving for the next habitable planet. That would require quite a leap in technology though from where we are now though. The point I’m making is that we need to keep pushing forward as there is no telling what is coming down the road and one way or another we should have options.

Agree here on the moon. Especially since there is as you say, Pre-moon history.

I love how they keep using ‘conspiracy theorist’ then explain why. Looks to be a solid argument from any angle to speculate the moon as being artificially placed.

Obviously, you've made up your mind on the subject... But for sake of conversation.

Curious, what is your explanation for fellow TW member @Sprig about the posts he made a few pages back with his first hand account?

The Missing 411 missing people reports, what is happening to these people? Check it out, would love to hear what you have to say. Most go as far as nawwwww that's BS I'm not gunna waste my time. That isn't a valid dismissal of the topic.

What are people seeing out there, that aren't hunting anything?

What amount of "proof" would make it exist? If you dig into it seems as though the higher ups at the NPS and Govt don't want to talk about it. Why? Would cause a total cluster fuck.

There are thousands of first hand accounts with similar stories going back hundreds of years. Is everyone high on meth/ DMT and bat shit crazy at the same time ? Is there a handful of crazy folks looking for fame? .. 100%. What about the others that are just regular people.

Would you agree that there somethings in this world that we as humans just don't understand or know about ?

No need to debate anything here if you don’t want to. This is a fun and thought provoking thread. It’s about a lot more that just Bigfoot . Just stick around and enjoy it. Open your mind. Be happy.
