Getting new tires soon. Going with a 265/70/17. Best reccomendation for a 2wd that will rarely see dirt? Looking at Toyo Open Country A/T 3 or Falken Wildpeak A/T3W? Potentially going with a 2" Eibach set up in the future so the tire size should accommodate both stock height and 2 inches just fine.

For mostly pavement and dirt roads, there are a lot of Tacomas on Michelin LTX tires with rave reviews and a few have off roaded’em with great results.

Had at3 toyos for over a year and no problems, no irregular wear and frequent rotations. Even changed the spare to matching rim and tire.

"rarely see dirt" bunch of AT recommendations.
Seems like the factory tires are the best option at that point.

A/T's will look so much better though. Not to mention help out when I do take it in the dirt.

What did you go with? I'd recommend Cooper at3 4s. Saw plenty of dirt with those and had great traction.

For a 2wd mostly on road I’d say you’d probably enjoy the silence. Michelin on my 08 TRD were quiet and I still went in the dirt and mud. :D
