I wasn't aware that they had "upgraded" the filter on the newest models. Thinking about it, my newest engine is the Courage and that is 15 years old.

I use a 50 hour/yearly interval on the mowers so I guess that actual filter size (dirt holding capacity) probably wouldn't be much of an issue. After all you are only filtering 2 quarts or so of oil for 50 hours.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!!

Finished some concrete repair in the stable yesterday, replaced the waste line on the pool filter, and ran some errands. Taking the trailer to Home Depot today to pick up a section of linoleum to put down in the stable where we'll store the beekeeping supplies. Then I have to take our yellow Lab to the vet - she's been having some infrequent pain in her back ( at least I think it's her back) and it's time to take an x-ray.

    Be safe out there!!

Morning Pa. Watched the sun rise yesterday as I took a sick day to continue my mowing of the fields over @ the cabin. Man so peaceful I have no words to describe the feeling. Certainly have words for what I am feeling today @ work! LOL Happy Tuesday all!

Moot point; That white bumper you see is my mom's Murano; My truck was parked on the less-flooded side, so I was fine...

However, not long after I took this picture there was a lightning strike/thunderclap practically right above our house that really scared my mom and me!

This summer has been nuts; The last time I remember it being this hot in Southeast Pennsylvania is the summer of 2010! We have heat waves every summer, but it only takes temperatures above 90 for three or more consecutive days to be considered a heat wave...

We have had so many heat waves with temperatures in the high 90s and even low 100s this year that I've lost count!

My house and my work both have central A/C, and my truck has freezing cold A/C that works so good my girlfriend turns it down halfway through most roadtrips!

All this AC talk... I honestly rarely use the AC in the vehicles, especially going to work. I work in a building with no AC and upstairs with all the sorters and machines running it can get to almost 100° quickly. I'd rather not get myself acclimated to AC then go into a stinkin' hot building. Now, the window unit at home, yea I have it set on ice cubes. Nothing better than being bundled up under the covers trying to sleep... I'm an odd person
