Utah meet n greet/trail run #6

Man I just missed this one I was in Heber for Christmas and i was trying to find someone to wheel with out there.

 

Anyone up for some riding down in the SLC area? Think me and some buddies are heading down there in a few days . . . Lots of snow coming

I had a blast on Christmas!! I was in Salt Lake hanging out with Matt and his family and we all had a blast!! Got some new toys for the truck too!! Thanks Matt!!!

I'll be in Salt Lake this Saturday but I'll be in a friends 4runner and she doesnt like to off-road. I'll be picking her up from the airport so I wont be able to make it out. Theres always next time though!!!

Speaking of which?? Anyone gonna plan the next meet??

 

Where will you folks be skiing/riding?


I will be skiing at Alta for the next few days, but I would love to venture over to Snowbird.

Hey everyone, I want to make sure those with Utah ties know about this. Sorry for the threadjack, but I figure several of you subscribe

 

Down in Vegas, had a blast.

Yeah when's the next meet? And before then we should do a mini meet where we just cruise around in a Tacoma convoy.

 

Who's going to set up our next meet? I'm itching to go on a trail run! And I need to know in advance so I can get that day off work.

 

I'm not sure. I havent heard from many of the Utah people in a while so I dont know if everyone just got real busy or doesnt come on TW anymore?

 

I'm down to go for a trail run... Since I found the regional forums I have been watching for another SLC area run.

 

Yeah I am up for one to but like I said before. I think cause of the holidays and weather, people havent been going out as much.

 

Another meet?! Im down, still have plenty more days for riding/skiing if thats an interest to anyone. But either way, its always a good time!

Can you hook up with some buddy passes in Park City?! I know it works at The Canyons if you have a season pass, not too sure about Park City.

 

Wow meet looked awesome! Hopefully I will get my lift and tires in time for the next one! I havnt done to much offroading in my taco and im just itching too so bad.

 

Personally I cant and the guys I go ride with get to ride free cause their parents either work or volunteer time up there. But yeah, $90 for a 1 day pass is pretty pricey!!

Hey the more the merrier!! You can even join us with a stock truck. There are a couple of people that run with us stock and they dont have any issues.

 

Yeah $90 is crazy expensive! Jackson is about 90 bucks as well! If the snow is good and deep then its justifiable! Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons have been good priced and the snow has been amazing! So far hit powder days each time!

 

I came across 40+ skis yesterday. I'm gonna try to sell them but I know nothing about skis or snowboards.....

 

Yeah $90 is pretty crazy but the ski rental place..."Canyon Sports" sells one day passes for I believe $69 or you can get 2 full days for $128 so the 2 day deal is pretty good I think.
