And it goes like this! Got any plans for mods on your truck? Have you owned any other yotas? What kinda stuff do you do with that pink trash can of yours.

 

Funny you bring up the trash can, after 10 years it has been replaced with a blue one as about 2 weeks ago. I used that because everyone liked to give me a hard time about it because often it was in the background of a photo of something I was listing, never intentionally and I never noticed until the jokes started so I just steered i to the skid and made it my avatar.

I'll keep that in mind - he hasn't responded yet My old handle in "VWFixx and VWVortex was 86 Project - was my first VW build was Euro Spec 8v - went ape shit from there best build was my 92 16v with megasquirt in red with g60 flares and stock Recarro door cards and recarro's from a Ralleye - those were built while I lived in Germany, traded that 92 straight across for an Audi TT 225 just before I left Germany to come back to states and regretted it every since - I had did the Peloquin in the front just before I traded. Anyway the TT was short lived with me and went all over the map - only built one more VW and that was a MK6 GTI 2012 but it wasn't the same.

I put over 180 laps down on "The Green Hell" between my 86, 84, and 92 GTI's while I lived over there - and my 92 was a bubble block Audi 2.0 that I threw the 1.8 16v head on. Was my first dive into megasquirt back then a well. I still have a Euro 5 Cyl intake and throttle body I brought back to mod sitting in my garage My 83 Notchback Stang gets the most attention these days, but the thought of his 84 gets my blood pumping

 

I know this is the classifieds but, I follow this thread. Is Andrew’s Cove usually covered up this time of the year? Was planning a trip there Labor Day weekend. Just wondering what I should expect.

 

My last build was a grey market 84 Euro Spec Golf that ABT had built and shipped over here as a show car to go along with I guess their IMSA campaign maybe... guy I bought it from had used the Matter cage out of it in his showroom stock racecar. I've got leftovers from that still... car sold locally in ATL, not sure what happened to it... probably still around someplace.
