What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Looking for a good dash cam, any suggestions?

 

Thinking too hard probably, and probably dumb, but here goes. I want to put a rack over my Softopper, but given that I haul brush and stuff like that quite a bit, I want one that I can remove somewhat easily. All I'd really be putting on it is my traction boards and maybe a kayak if I get one. Am I nuts to be thinking of making a rack out of PVC so that I can put it on and take it off easily?

 

Aluminum would probably be light enough for 2 people to remove, and if it had bolt on cross bars or something else you could disassemble quickly that seems like it would be light, fast to remove, and sturdier than pvc

 

I agree with David, aluminum would be better than PVC

Got my OME lift kit on, as well as my 275/75R17 Falken Wildpeak tires and Rotiform SIX-OR Wheels. Also installed a Prinsu Rack and Roam Adventure case last weekend while I was home with covid. Truck is really starting to come together. I can't stop looking at it...

 

Don't get me wrong... I do love my Barcelona Red... Damn that army green is on another level. Beautiful!!

 

I went with the Garmin mini and have been very happy with it. Get a dongle for an easy set up. Think about $175 between the cam, SD card, usb and lense.

All thanks to the member that recently mentioned the discount and free shipping from the LaGrange Toyota. That led me on a hunt to find one in SoCal. Found and ordered from a store in San Diego for $87 total.

Tip: when I called my local LA Toyota places, they were all selling for $109+shipping. Dude in SD on the phone said the online shop was run by a third party so though they were still full price when you call, there are deals abound online.
