I am done with the axles and links. I am waiting on the machine shop to get my transfer case shafts machined, then I have to put both of them back together. I have some welding to do to join them together and make a shifter for it and make a way for the shifter to come through the floor. I also have a little body work to do on the front fenders and mount the fender flares and then I should be ready to ride

I'm still here too. Just not posting much anymore. Because, like I said, I'm not exactly sure what caught me a ban(I have an idea). At the least whoever banned us should have sent a PM explaining what rule was broken. I understand there has to be rules, but none of us were rude to each other and we had already moved on 2 days. Everyone involved was still chatting it up. I was a Mod on WF for a while. If I ever had to give someone a forced vacation, I would send a PM with the post that got them banned and the rule that was broken.

Is it the mere mentioning of stuff or do you need to be rude/attacking? Are both sides of an discussion treated the same way?

I just want rules(whatever they may be) to be enforced without bias.

I enjoy TW and there is great info/threads here. I can find the info I need without having to post and get another forced vacation. I don't want to "walk" around TW on eggshells wondering, if by mentioning something(without attacking), will I catch another hammer.

Even the moderators can’t follow their own rules here. I wasn’t involved in The Hammering, but when I asked about it they tried to claim we were all responsible because we didn’t “self police”.

    1. It literally says in the rules not to.

    2. I still don’t even know what we were supposed to be policing.

We never attacked each other. So I just have to assume that the mere mentioning of something was enough. It seems that things may have been taken out of context or only certain words were focused on. I honestly have no clue. It is what it is at this point.

My grease nipple on my front driveshaft broke off when I was trying to grease it. Now there’s an open hole, question is, how necessary is it to replace it soon? I figured since the front shaft is straight, the u joints aren’t as necessary as the rear shaft joints. I drove in 4wd yesterday for an hour and nothing happened

Nah lol I really don’t want to fix it bc I would have to take off all my skid plates to get to it and it’s a PAIN. Plus if I take my skids off I would feel the need to weld support and beat them back into place and I just don’t want to lol

Pretty sure you’ll be fine for a while.I’d probably throw a piece of tape over the hole (if the zerk broke completely) to keep dirt out.

    Only the best.
I have yet to find a grease gun that will fit into where they put the greaserts on my front drive shaft. 76k and never been greased. I tried many times. I think id have to take it off to grease it. Oh well. When they go bad ill put new ones on with the zerts on the outside like my rear shaft lol.

Good to know I’m not crazy, that’s probably why it broke, I was forcing the grease gun on the cap bc of the angle

Any mention of politics or religion in any way and they will ban you is what they said. I personally don't agree with it but it is not my site. I feel as long as no one is being an ass hole they should just leave us be. I would assume those two things just cause so many issues that they just say no politics and religion of any kind.

I broke one of mine and offroaded it for three years before I had to replace it.
