I know you mentioned you drove Tundra, I tow a lot and often at max GCVWR, and she tows just fine, actually nicer than the gasser Ram 2500, I have 5.29s and RAS helper springs that helps a lot, when empty I'm averaging 6-7km/L I think that's around 16.6L/100km to 14.25L/100km , at near max GCVWR I would average 4-5km/L or 20L/100KM.

    That's beautiful, where is that?

Damn, losing a child at that age is unfathomable pain for parents, hope he gets some sort of comfort.

it's actually part of the trails we did back in July/ Aug Yota's that crawl/ East trails exploration.

but agreed that it's a pain that can't be described. a small gesture like going out to Barrie for the memorial parade can be enough to let the kid's parents know that he's been part of something as big the 4x4 communities here.

    Naw, sorry you are wrong.

Different countries have different religions and beliefs.

That symbol in India is good luck. It is placed on lots of things.

Just because people in north america say its bad, does not mean it is.

the swastika is a symbol of hate. It does have its origins of being a symbol of religious meaning but when turned on its side and shown as the nazis did it it is for hate and what not.

    some more reading as well.

From my understanding as well the direction at which the symbol points as well as the angle too.

All very interesting. Could the car have been for something else, maybe. I immediately thought of the nazi symbol. I Could be wrong and it could have been something else as @llamasmurf pointed out.

the swastika, in the context of the Nazi regime and even as far as today to those that still wear it, will forever be a symbol of hatered to humanity.
For those that deny that context.

    1. fuck you
    2. I urge you to walk the pilgrimage that is any of the death camps that still exists today.
    3. try to tell it to my face.

    IMG_20190326_142104.jpg

There is no "good" in that symbol.

Agreed. In the context of the nazi regime yes. 100%. Don’t think anyone was denying that.

the fact it can be used in other religions that are not a symbol of hate though is what was being discussed.

Listened to a podcast on a Auschwitz survivor. Horrifying hearing this old woman speak of her experiences. Was on Jocko podcast if anyone wants to feel like a bag of shit.

i've gone 3 years ago. it's not something a person can describe in words what you experience when you walk around those grounds. but it's as you said and said well; I can't think of a worse place that everyone should visit.

and i can completely get behind that, and that's why i said in the context of things.
Outside of that - it's a generally good symbol with many meanings and uses by civilization throughout human history. They symbol alone in itself isn't good or evil, it's what we perceive it to be. but due to what happened during the 2nd World War - the symbol has been tainted as "evil" and continues to be to this day by people who sees either one side of the coin and remain ignorant, or sees both sides and understands them well but chooses to see it that way.

but that aside, I've listened to hundreds of hours of podcasts and interviews growing up about the war and it's horrors. have been going and reading through Naval history of WW2 recently and there are lots on all fronts to learn about.

I do not deny that the nazi's hi jacked a very old symbol, and used it for evil.

That does not make the symbol evil though.

@Shveet I am not trying to offend anyone. The German's did horrible things

The reason I was born in Canada is because my father's family escaped the German's in WWII. They loved to punish Polish people, and we are Polish. My fathers Grandparents, and Mother and Father owned a general store in tiny town in Belgium. The German's showed up and said they were coming back in 3 days to take everything from the store.

They gave everything away to anyone around, and ran away. Escaped to Canada in the end.

That is why I was lucky enough to be born in Canada.

don't worry bud, no offense taken. i enjoy these types of conversations with people who can be reasonable and sees both sides of a topic.

as a Pole, i have family that survived the death camps, Auschwitz specifically since they lived about 40km from the camp. By all means I consider myself lucky to even be here right now because the camp was liberated just in time with my great grandmother and grandmother being there. My Mum has a photo that was taken of them behind a fence with hundreds of others with them waiting to be free'd.
but that's a lucky story to hear from your end.

human history is fascinating and absolutely horrible...
