My person feeling is that white and close-to-white colors are way too common.... In houses and vehicles. I have nothing against white cars/trucks, but at least out west, like 30% of all vehicles I see on the road are white. Just seems too generic to me (although I do really like the Stormtrooper style of white Tacos/4Runners that I've seen here on TW).

In my last house, over a span of maybe 5 years, I slowly repainted every room from the standard egg shell white to various other colors. I also replaced almost all the carpet with laminate flooring except the master bedroom.

White is a good trim color. But not walls. All white kitchens look nice, but only in magazines. I've come to realize that decorating magazine/Pintrest photos don't translate well to real life.

Thank you for putting into words exactly how I feel!

White is so safe. So boring. So basic. I can appreciate the full effect white can have on things, but it's not my style. I left bedrooms in our last house the tan we moved in with because I could never decide on a color for them and I'm sort of trying to get past that process here. It's my house and if I want to repaint it a few times then I should do that.

It reminds me of one of our old neighbors. They were in their mid 70s and the wife looooovvvved repainting the interior every couple years. Her in her jeans and unicorn hippie shirts and the husband in his old man flannel wear. They were so awesome and her lasagna was amazing. We still keep in touch so we know all about the new owners.

I am so tired of seeing white vehicles. The world needs variety. It's such a numb color but I'll keep my strong felt opinions on this side of the keyboard. I can see the only reason it being used so frequently on walls is cost, resale, and repairs. Other than that...do literally any other color or at least have a few accent walls to balance out the complete lack of inspiration that white walls bring to the .....

You're fine, as long as you don't have a white vehicle...

    Yeah Ok

Edit: I’ll deal with it considering it appears to not get as hot in the boiling ass sun (supposedly) and doesn’t look like ass after intensive trail pinstriping is applied , both of which I’m faced with on the reg
