Thanks. The stock fronts are working well for me. The SB has been gone a long time ago. The new setup killed a lot of roll. Those bumps are interesting.

Mine is a sport so there was already less body roll than most folks lol.

Same here. The problem was the harshness of uneven bumps with the SB. Just our rounded driveway curb was nasty. Offroad was hell. Hahaha!

Getting rid of it made the ride perfect and only added body roll which had no other ill effects. I like messing with the Taco on road and off. No issues that I found in over 50k without it even a few emergency swerves. It felt about the same as a stock OR.

Now, with the 5100s and Icon packs, I'm almost back to the stock level of body roll. So, your roll comment piqued my interest. Canceling out a bit more with better absorption when the stop takes affect sounds cool.

I was tempted to take off my SB but I decided to leave it on. The roll is almost gone now with these on lol. The fun thing is how the sumos absorb all the small imperfections in the road and makes the steering feel "numb" but not in a bad way. You know how you can feel small bumps through the steering wheel? I don't feel those at all now. It's a really weird but comfortable ride now.

    Good stuff.

I don't seem to notice bumps in the steering at the moment. Prior to the 5100s, the front wheels were jogging around badly on harsh bumps. The Hitachis were just done. I'm in a bit of nirvana now from getting control back. Best of all, before and after the alignment, the steering feels a bit heavier with more on-center feel, so I'm digging that.

I had that same feeling until I switched to 5100s. When I took mine off I could compress the struts with no force at all and they did not rebound back.

I'm not 100% sure if our particular struts or shocks are charged for extension, but the shaft on the struts did slide a bit too easily when I tried. My rears have some damping left, but not much. The extended travel 5100 rears are due to arrive tomorrow. +1.0in was not enough with the Icon packs.

I was looking at those too but I had a good experience with sumos in the rear so figured they would be great in the front too.

    Not yet.
I just put these on my 2nd gen regular cab and I can definitely feel the different. I do agree with you that these front sumosprings absorb all the small bumps on the road.

Maybe if I end up swapping my Ironman Springs for King springs I could use these unless I get another set sooner. I don’t think the green springs would go well with these blue stops. I do like that they will contact sooner than the competition.

I'm not familiar with green springs but yes they definitely engage sooner than others from what I've seen on here when I was researching bumps.

Ironman springs are green and while they look good on my truck, I can’t really add other colors lol. Not that those bump stops would normally be visible
