What is would you recommend as a solution to this? Trim the end of the second leaf? I'm getting ready to install my 111's with HH and I was planning to reuse the stock shackles.

Do you have thoughts on trimming the leaf to look more like the stock geometry while the leaves are still packed together?

I just wedged a pry bar in there to separate the leaves and cut with an angle grinder. It's not rocket science, just be careful to not cut the other leaves.

Exactly, also drooping the axle out, with vehicle securely supported by jack stands helps separate leaf pack, which makes it easy to spread leaves with a shim of wood @TyLxer_VLI

Ah good point. I did still had the truck up on jack stands after my HH install when I trimmed the leaves

Okay nice. Good to know its not too much of a hassle. Still kind of sucks to cut into a new leaf pack that was sold to fit the vehicle as is. Live and you learn I guess

It's really unfair to the customers

In other news, the 1st batch of Archive HD springs are en route. Got 9 spots open

The best we can do is continue to educate those who haven't been :censored: with an inferior product... The more we get the word out, the less people will buy of them, which will either lead them to stop importing them OR fix the issue.

On the topic, I just had a friend come over with some HD Alcan and his extend into the shackle too and have gouged it. He has HH and 3.6 shackles and archive relocate. Not sure if that’s been talked about yet.

Yeah, I have been saying that for a while, but another data point, thank you. Do you know how old the Alcan pack is?

If you plan to order deavers and they are not an in-stock pack expect 14-16 weeks. I put an order in for what they call the XXXXHD or some ridiculous name and my lead time was given as 14-16. When I called back in May it was 12 weeks and a year ago it was 30 days. Leads keep getting longer if you are planning on any nonstandard. If you go with accuntune, camburg or something that normally stocks them you may get lucky and get a set right away.

It's that kind of stuff that adds more value to companies like Archive. So much to gain from buying from folks who actively engage their community and work on a continuous improvement method.
Do you have more details on load ratings/pricing/lead time for the leaf packs?

Suggested name for your new springs in keeping with the name of your 1st Gen Tundra…
    Roald Amundsen
Roald Amundsen is the first person to have reached both the South Pole and the North Pole. He led the Antarctic expedition of 1910-12, which was the first to reach the South Pole on Dec 14, 1911, a month ahead of the American expedition led by Robert Falcon Scott. Amundsen was the leader of the first air expedition to the North Pole in 1926, and he also led the first expedition to traverse the Northwest Passage.

    Now these were real men!

Nice I just ordered a set of others mainly due to needing a high rate but this would have been killer.
