    Correct, but lots of shorthand with dimensions and units in forums so you’ll never see it other than just “lbs” haha

    It is all about energy both stored and potential and how it is controlled. Not only are the forces/energy dynamic so is the control of it. A shocks valving may work great with a given spring at a specific shock shaft speed but change one thing and it can throw the whole system out of balance. Very difficult of having a system work great across the entire spectrum if not impossible. Like every thing it is a balance what is possible vs what is desired.

    First intro to engineering class I had we derived physics equations and stoichiometry only with units, no numbers. You got comfortable with units and dimensional analysis real quick, but it really helped to know you could solve an equation with units to get a game plan when the shit got hairy with numbers and diff eq especially.

    I hated chemistry. My brother on the other hand would ace every organic chem, biochem (pre med) and partial diff eq test he took and they’d have to set the curve off the next kid haha he was not the most admired kid in class I’m sure…

    Me too. It would land. I have a six month old I’m preparing to embarrass as soon as possible, so I’m working on perfecting my dad jokes. Most are starting to come about organically though, which is good.
