How long did you have to wait for your 2021 factory order?

Hard to say. If he has your specs he can do a search of other dealership allocations, and get you your truck. He can attempt a swap, or do you a solid and see if there’s one out there. They can see if it has a deposit or not too. Not everyone is willing to forfeit a sale, but it’s worth an ask.

Buffalo ny and erie pa.. theres listing on dealer sights and auto trader but all are sold already. Why they don’t take down the listing is beyond me!

 

Oh man. Yeah. I’m near Albany. Our entire region is void of inventory for some reason. They don’t take them down because that reservation may fall through. That’s how I found mine. Someone cancelled, I scooped it up. Don’t know why they post some allocations, but not all. No idea, but it’s tough competition!

 

Yeah, they also want people calling / coming in even if they don't have the stock.

Damn. This is like a kick in the gut. I got my permanent vin on Aug 13 and was told delivery of Aug 30-Sept 6 so I have been looking forward to getting the truck next week. Hope they are not all delayed at the port. Good luck and I hope we both get ours sooner rather than later!

 

Depends on the port. San Diego seems to be backed up. Keep getting extended delays. Production is slowing a bit, so maybe they’re catching up now. Positive thinking!

Mine was built in Baja and it's coming to NH. The logistics of putting it on a boat makes no sense to me. Baja is next door to San Diego, then it has to go overland across the entire USA! If they use Port of NY, my truck would travel south to the Panama canal.

With so many goods made in Mexico, wouldn't it make sense to have rail service to the USA? Ignore me, I'm just ranting while anxiously waiting for delivery.

Just got an email that my truck is sitting at the port waiting to be loaded onto the rail car with an estimated delivery first half of Sept. He stated there is a backup at the port so it’s a soft estimate.

I had a build date of 8/9, and estimate for delivery is 9/28. Stuck in port.

 

I believe mine was 8/9 as well, he originally responded to me on the 11th that “it’s in production” so I’d guess it went in on the monday.
Let’s hope we get em sooner rather than later….. at this point with 8months of searching I’m good with a few more weeks. (Not really tho)

 

Fingers crossed for no more delays. Original delivery date was this week. Pushed to 9/13, and now 9/28. At least we have one built, and not likely to get a call cancelling due to some factory shutdown. I’ll say that much

 

I believe US builds are finished in TX, and shipped to dealers from there. Not entirely sure of that. Houston would possibly be where they added your packages.

 

Was built at the Guanajuato, Mexico plant. So I believe it’s in San Diego…

 

Delivery ETA is now 9/3 for mine
