Not really a random but the drive to my new job since the first job I took here can eat a dick.

    Not BS at all.
I lived in Greenville, SC for almost 10 years.

One Summer a high pressure system parked itself right smack over South Carolina....and it wouldn't move.
We had one solid month of 100 degrees (plus) every day.
It didn't ever get below 80 degrees, and that was just before sunup.

Nevertheless, seeing daffodils in January was nice.
Not sure which sucks more...Winter here or Summer there. :notsure:

It IS possible to be too good at your job and then you’re boxed into it. If I were you, I would drop a deuce in the urinal first thing tomorrow.

It’s not a bad drive. Causeway has its own police dept and tow services. Apparently the only people who die are those who can’t swim.

I actually do have some ideas that could help fix a large part of the problems with planning. But my ideas would require the planners to get out from the desk and actually go walk the work down, take pictures of work locations, equipment and replacement parts, make sure parts are correct/ like for like or can be made to work.
I think the department focuses more on quantity over quality, and that's never good.

Good luck getting people to do something that they're already getting by not doing. Preaching to the choir. Good luck though. I'm taking my battle to management when i get there. Until then, the beer is cold
