Fellow Voodoo’s. I am having a hard time deciding on wheels for my 21 OR. I found a shop that quoted me $1600 installed for TRD SEMA replicas in matte black with Falken Wild peaks 265/70/17. I guess the newer replicas have a red ring around the edge of the center cap and previous years just have the red trd logo in the center but since they are replicas it’s just a sticker. I kind of have a hard time wrapping my head around spending that money for some wheels with a stupid sticker in the middle but I guess it hold up. They said I could get it without the trd sticker then it would be an all black look which I think may look better with my set up. Then I’m thinking I might as well consider other all black wheel options. Anyone have any suggestions?

Yeah it’s like 1620 out the door.
I like this price range but if you have suggestions that might be more pleasing to the eye I will consider it.

That is solid advice and that was my original plan to run the stock tires into the ground. I ended up with some extra cash from this recent child credit tax stuff so now I have the money and the itch to get my rims sooner haha

If it makes you feel any better my wheels didn't come with the TRD logo affixed to the wheels either (some sort of legal thing). The logo isn't just a decal, it's actually a hard plastic applique'. I'm picky about this stuff also and was still impressed with the quality. I don't think I ever need to worry about them coming off.

Just got my 2021 TRD OR MT! I love it, love the color in my driveway. I feel lucky to have found it. Did a Autotrader search, only four in the country showed up with this color and the manual transmission, three were already spoken for. This one was ordered but the guy didn’t want it, so I jumped on a plane from Spokane,WA to Detroit and road tripped back with my boys. The original order was great. First Tacoma! Behind it is my 2000 4Runner with 301k miles. Love Toyota! Great to be part of this group!

Just joined the club last weekend. I told myself the only way I'd get rid of my 2013 XSP-X was if I got a TRD Pro in Voodoo Blue. The tech and ride upgrades so far have made it worth it! Also, can't stop turning around to peak after parking.

Wow way behind on my TacomaWorld read up but ever since the third gen came up people have come to realize they use a different glass that is thinner and more prone to shattering under temperature changes, and cracking from chips easily. Between say my 2014 Civic and my first third gen Tacoma (2016 BR access cab) the glass on my Tacoma cracked, cracked, and cracked each and every time I got the slightest chip. Pair that with winter temperatures and I had a windshield so bad I would've been ticketed for an unsafe windshield if a cop that cared enough stopped me.

I was torn between cement which arrived earlier, and voodoo blue which had been set to arrive two months later. I considered cement but my heart was set on silver sky metallic if I was going to go with a neutral colour and that wasn't offered in TRD OR access cabs up in Canada. Of course seeing voodoo blue around town made the decision quick. It looks amazing with a colour matched high rise cap.

I've said I may wrap it but I'm considering staying with the Tacoma long term so I may just go for full colour matched bedliner for the added durability. That and someone linked me a build thread where a guy's (basically coloured matched) vinyl wrap started singeing and turning black. If I did a vinyl wrap I'd want 3M protection over top and it's more expensive that way than to bedline it.

I think that VooDoo blue and Cement are both discontinued for 2022.
