I've also since had the opportunity to test these tires in some heavy duty, toad floating rains, and the tires behaved excellently. Next big test will be snow, but that is a ways away.

Just got these installed in 285/70/17. It didn't require a lot of weight to balance even though the shop didn't take the time to align the dot and the valve stem. Initial impression was a little bit of a float feeling with 32 psi. I went to 37 and things feel much better. This tire is more aggressive than I anticipated from pictures. Road noise is definitely increased over the stock A30's I replaced. They are loud compared to any tire I have had before, but the most aggressive tire I have run was a set of nitto trail grappler so I don't think the noise is unreasonable for what the tire is trying to be. Handling on the road shows initial signs of"float" when starting a high speed turn, but quickly takes the line with no drama. No off road test or rain or snow yet. So far I like the tires. They are more aggressive than I anticipated, but seem to only have small on road sacrifices compared to what I would expect from looking at them.

Anyone know if the Razr AT 811 is directional? I can find no indication on the tire nor in specs on various tire sites.

Asking because I had them rotated yesterday, and the shop only rotated front to back. I was expecting one of the cross rotation patterns and asked so I’d know which they used. Service guy said their company policy is front to back, found that interesting. He said nothing about directional, which would be a reason with a specific set of same size tires to rotate that way.

I suppose front to back is still fairly useful given the alignment spec differences, but worth exploring the details.

I've been told (and read) that front to back is the best way to rotate radial tires. Not sure how much it actually matters, but I don't think I'd lose any sleep over it.

I’ve been a bad boy my entire life and never rotated tires. Promised myself this time around I’d do it. Figured I’d make sure I was doing it the right way to start. Not too concerned, just looking to maximize their useful life.

I've never run very aggressive tires but even with my mild all-terrains it really helped with the cupping to rotate them. I never did the 5,000 mi thing, I would wait till I could see some cupping on the tires and then rotate them. Usually somewhere between 7,000 and 10,000 mi. I'm kind of wondering about these though because they are a little more aggressive than I have run before so I imagine they will cup more easily

If you aren't having any unusual wear patterns, front to back is fine. If you're chasing cupping or other abnormal tire wear, front-cross is the way to go.

I made sure to get a good alignment post-install and haven’t had any unusual wear. They’ve only been on about 5k. Thanks for the recommendation!

Front to back seems fairly typical for a shop.

I rotate mine in a way that changes the direction of rotation every time on every tire with very good results. I have to do it myself, but so far it's been worth the work. I do it when I change the oil.

That’d be either a full cross rotation or side to side.

Correct. I've been alternating between those 2. But, I recently changed to a Z pattern so that I don't have to keep track of what I did last.

How are these doing in rain and snow? I'd like to run them on my dd, but they need to be pretty good for my little girls safety.

Where'd you get yours from? I'm looking at SimpleTire. My only hold up is that Sam's Clubs does some pretty crazy Black Friday tire deals. But these look awesome and the features seem great.

IMG_20210911_101041.jpg Love these tires. IIMG_20210911_101115.jpg have wildpeaks on my Rubicon and they're not near as good in my opinion. Excellent dry and wet traction. Excellent traction on limestone, gravel, and dirt roads. Very little road noise. Surprisingly good Ride, E, 30psi rear, 32 front. 265 75 R16.

Wheel & Tar Project Complete. So far I’m really Digging These. Went with the factory size, along with New OEM TRD Tacoma Pro Wheels.
There’s a Five Pound difference per corner from the Factory TRD off-Road Tire Package. The Razr’s & Pro wheels weigh less.

    Razr 811’s/Pro Wheels - 56lbs.
    Goodyear’s/Off•Road Wheels - 61lbs.

Again, very pleased with the Purchase and liking the Swag.
