you’re correct! Why black interior is not available with cement is baffling!

In my region you can get the black leather without the Nightshade package. Only thing is need to take factory hard tonnue cover.

Love the “special taco sauce”! They will probably be pretty pricy.

I'm new here. Long time Jeeper, ready to make the change over to a Tacoma. I "placed an order" last week with my dealer for '21 TRD Sport DCSB, pretty well spec'd. He said it will be 3+ months until I see it. I asked him if it would be a '22 in that case. He said "probably yeah". Also said they don't know what their allocation is yet. I don't have a high degree of confidence he has any idea what is going on. He did accept just a $100 refundable deposit on my order though, so I got that going for me.

The 2021's are still showing "In-Transit" locally with most coming in as DBLCab's. The local dealer even has a black Pro due in. I'm waiting to order a 2022 AC Sprt as I'm in no hurry and it will require me to remove/reinstall mods and plow frame.

I would be thrilled with something REALLY cool for 2022. Say, something like rear disk brakes. You know, like the ones that are available on almost every other vehicle made. Not a hater.....just sayin'.

You have a better chance at seeing a diesel Tacoma for 2022, you won't see any type of major changes until the 4th Gen comes out.

Just put in a deposit this morning for a 2022 allocation for a Limited. Inventory/Fleet manager said should be okay as I didn't want anything crazy. 2022 Limited SB 4wd Silver with Black leather and tonnuea cover and installed accessories mudguards, tailgate power lock, all weather floor liners. MSRP with zero markup or add on dealer junk.

This was at the Denver Auto Expo this morning, color isn't as bad in person but really does stick out.

2022s are now showing up in some inventory searches, but they are very much still in transit. I believe the first one to appear, was out of a Manassas, Virginia Miller Toyota dealership, who currently have 9 due to arrive in 1 week or so. Another is Muskegon, Michigan, who have 7. The other 7 are spread across Kansas, Indiana, CT, and 1 other state I can't recall.

All are built in Mexico, either in Guanajuato or Tijuana, Baja California. None of the 23 total 2022 VINs I can see nationwide, were built in Texas at TMMTX. Tacoma is now 100% Mexico assembled. since that the 2023 Sequoia will be debuting in a few months and on sale in the winter, right after new Tundra.

These are first 2 manuals in transit, going to Macon, GA and Manchester, CT (they also have two autos). Both were built in the Texas replacement plant, TMMGT Mexico.
