Morning folks. Heat advisory again today at 91* and 4000% humidity. Might travel for some pizza this evening.

Good Morning

Slept in the recliner again last night. Can't get comfortable in bed because of my knee. Another doc appointment today.

 

I've been through a couple joint replacements and rotator cuff sh-tuff. My recliner ended up being the only place I could get any sleep during the initial healing. Not sure why hospital rooms just aren't replaced with recliners and a TV.

 

Best wishes with the doctor's appointment. It's a bitch to start to get aches and pains that just won't go away.

Knee problem started back in March.
Been doing real good with wearing a knee sleeve. Then I took the truck in for the frame inspection and coating. I wanted to see just where they sprayed. I carefully got down to look underneath. Getting back up the knee popped.
Doc already told me no climbing ladders aka deer hunting from a tree stand.

Just got back home from the VA for getting more lab work done . Also as I was there I got a phone call from the prosthetics dept and was about my knee brace for my l/ knee , that appointment has been set for October

I've been waiting for this brace for well over a year now from my old VA in Loma Linda . The Nashville VA med system is so awesome as within just a weeks time they've impressed me with getting appointments set for neuro , ortho and now the knee brace

 

Good to hear you are being treated right.

 

I believe the quality of care is from Vanderbilt University medical center and is the hospital that runs the Tennessee Valley VA Med system

 

Really excited and happy for you Chuck. It looks like some VA facilities are getting better, and that's welcome news. We have a long way to go to get this "Nation Wide".

They are located next to each other, and I think some of the residents work in both hospitals. But I don't believe Vandy has anything to do with running the VA hospital. The Tennessee Valley Healthcare System operates several clinics and two hospitals across middle Tennessee. Most of my time is spent at the Alvin C. York Campus in Murfreesboro, but I occasionally go to the Vandy campus in Nashville. In fact, I have an appt at York on Monday and Vandy on Tuesday. They both do a pretty reasonable job at patient care.
