Well looks like I've been a plumber today. :angrygirl:

Someone shoved paper towels down the sink and it got stuck in the "P" trap. That was a nasty mess to tear apart. Then they busted the valves on another sink...

Hey I use axle grease. Nothing chafes through that.

Let's not talk about what's chapping after the weather today... double wall carhart pants today and it was a busy day. Hydraulic pump on one of our German machines died. Pulled it off the motor and the lovejoy came out in six pieces. It's a metric european lovejoy that we of course didn't have any spares of. Boss jigsawed it back together with rtv well enough for us to put it on the new pump. Which after spilling two gallons of hydraulic fluid, spending an hour changing fittings between the old and new pumps, then getting it all back together... the new pump didn't work. At all. Not even the mechanical bypass that manually moves the shuttle valve over to run the chains. Nada. But the gear pump that piggy backs off the shaft did work, which means the lovejoy somehow worked. Swapped valve bodies between the old and new pump. Still nothing. Now I have to go in at 4:45 tomorrow morning to try checking and resetting the pilot pressure. If that doesn't fix it, I have to put the old pump back in that still partially works. And swap valve bodies back. Woooo more hydraulic mess!
