Thanks, guys! They're already growing on me a little. But I'm going to try and reserve final judgement for their performance rather than looks. Just not sure when I'll be able to get out on the trail again to test 'em out. Might not be until late October :(

Is anyone running Nitto Ridge Grapplers in a 255/80r17? It's a true 33" that is E rated and clocks in at 55lbs. Walmart has them for $250/ea. I'm really on the fence between an AT and MT, and these are kind of a hybrid that are best of both worlds.

I see what you thought. Lol. All good. The front inner fender is definitely a place you have to clearance. I’m looking forward to the JD inners when they release.

Same here. Last update is that he's tweaking them for a better easier fit.
Looking at the quality of the other gear from them. I'd say worth the wait.

What exact wheel model and size are those? Looks fantastic!

How tall do they measure out to be? They look a little skinnier than the Toyo or Falken MT's too.

It's a little tough to measure exactly since the tire has some roundness to it. But, at it's widest, it's pretty much dead on 33". A little less if measured vertically with the weight of the truck on it. I don't have experience with those others you speak of but I believe you are correct, from what I've gathered these are on the skinny side compared to others. They probably wouldn't have been my first choice but I got a great deal on them and just had to give skinnies a try.

Thanks for the info! From multiple reviews they seem to be the better performing tire so they're actually what I'll be going for as well. Hoping to find a good deal myself o_O

Any specific retailer or just Ebay? Love the 7" width with the skinnies.

Measure circumference down the centerline and convert to diameter.

Yeah, it's not that important to me to get an exact measurement, lol. If someone else needs it I'd be glad to take the measurement since my spare is currently off and just sitting in my garage since it doesn't fit in the stock location and I need to make some mods. But otherwise I'm not gonna bother spending the time.

Also found out last night when I finally unloaded my truck that the tire shop only gave me 4 of my old tires back and not all 5. Not a great way to cap off a terrible tire shop experience.

LOL. No, I got the tires from a TW member. I actually used this tire shop to put on my Wildpeaks and for my alignment - seemed decent at the time and I was happy with their prices and service. This time around the cost was almost double what it was before, they didn't check the TPMS sensors until AFTER they had already put the tires/wheels back on the truck, they lost my valve stem caps, my wheels were FILTHY when I got the truck back, greasy hand marks on my driver door exterior and interior. Then now I found out they never gave me back the brand new Wildpeak that was on my spare wheel. Needless to say, they're never getting my business again.

Any Toyota dealer will sell them or you may get lucky and find some used here on TW. Just make sure they are the Toyota OEM wheels and not TRD Pro “style”.
