I have cheap rent locked in for another year and then I’m leaving AZ. Going on a NM, CO trip next month to scout new places to live. Too many people here now.

Yeah one such company is Black Rock. Its one of the companies all mixed up in the Gamestop stuff going on. They are doing it all around the country.

Go ahead and take CO off the list immediately if you think there are too many people here. Also if cost is any concern.

Here I been going up to Montana to look for a new place. Wife just tossed in Idaho to the mix. So we will see. Definetly too many people even here in Show low for my liking.

I lived in CO for ten years and moved here from there. My brother/sister in law live there. My parents have a place in Grand Lake. There are definitely still a lot of cool small mountain towns that aren't over populated as long as you don't need to be near a ski resort but everything is expensive. If you work from home or are retired and dont need to be near a city center there are some great options. Also if you're a tradesman of any kind you can crush it in the mountain towns. They are desperate for electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs etc.

Well just got the call for my appraisal. Came back at 336k. Which isnt terrible considering I bought 2 years ago for 280k. Zillow ( I know isnt a reliable source) says 421k. And as I stated above one of my neighbors house just sold for 580k and I have about 500 more sqft with same bed/bath count and garage space. So If I sold I know I could make a killing to some Californian.

Thanks all for the reply.. I'm leaning more towards OE since I'm not doing 100MPG down dirt roads or jumping my truck (maybe I should start! LOL). I've seen some poly motor mounts, they say it's like in between a solid mount and a rubber mount. Anyone have any experience with them? Wondering if they last any longer than rubber?

NM is great. Albuquerque proper sucks to live in, but east of the Sandia's is killer, and so is northern NM.

AZ went to shit in 2009 when our license plates went to 7 digits.

I’m leaning towards northern NM. I am able to work remote and I have a few other useful skills so work won’t be an issue. Just have to find the right spot.

My brother is in Twin Falls, works in the gold mine in Elko a week at a time. Hes been in Idaho for over a decade now and loves it. Ill be there on Halloween to pick up my new to me GMC Sierra and a 6.0 LS to sell down here.
I have good equity in the house here, doing the cash out refi now to finally kill the rest of my student loan debt. So now the focus shifts to where i can move and still work remote. I dont want a shit ton of snow and UT might be the only place left that I like. We will see when im there next weekend.

Yeah twin falls is where she is looking. I love the snow as some of you may or may not remember. I prefer Montana but atleast Twin falls is only 3 and half hours from Mike. So not bad. Almost the same drive from me to you currently. What part of Utah you thinking?

I spent a couple months out of a hotel in ABQ - won't ever see me go back other than to drive through. I thought the homeless problem was bad in downtown Atlanta.

Same here. I had someone come out just for shitz and googles, if I were to put some lipstick on this bitch I could sell it and walk away with over 400k in profit.

But I like it here. Well, so far I do. All these fucking Cali assholes moving in sucks though.
