Do these have built-in resistors so I don't have to worry about hyper-flashing? Also wondering if they've been tested with the OEM LED DRLs

I would bet they have been tested in multiple applications.

650 is a little ridiculous. Better come with a lifetime warranty for that kind of markup.

I disagree... When people pay $360 for this abomination, that's known for having leaking and electrical issues... I'd say $650 is right in line with the market. Look how many people here can't wait to hand over their cash. As a person who had MESO's OG tail lights, I can tell you the quality is top notch and his "warranty" is second to none.

Everyone has their own opinion. I'm not spending upwards of 700 after tax on it even though they look nice. I feel it should be a hella warranty to be in that price range bc aftermarket tails tend to leak, and short, especially since this set has not been tested by buyers for a lengthy period of time. But you know what they say about opinions right?

It sounds like you're not a buyer... but if you were concerned about these issues, asking the maker (@MESO) would be a good place to start. So let's see what he says...

    • What kind of warranty do these have? Will you cover leaks and shorts?
    • How long have these been in development? Any extended real-world testing?

Being a collab w/ morimoto I highly doubt it will be a shoddy product. But just my opinion.

i also believe the warranty issue was already addressed in this thread somewhere by @MESO . Since Morimoto will be the key distributor, I believe it was mentioned with a 5 year warranty. Let me dig through the early pages of this to find out for sure.

I personally think $650 is a good price. It also comes with a 5 year warranty.

At that price it weeds out those that don't want to pay for quality work. Like the current aftermarket highend is Alpharex's at $300, and we know those are just rebranded Chinese crap.

I also paid $850 for my current Meso Ultimate Taillights, so $650 is a pretty good deal.

$650 really isn't that bad. I have Morimoto headlights and those weren't cheap either. But that's the thing, quality stuff isn't cheap.

Nope. I’d pay $650 for them if I hadn’t already done the Stage 1 conversion on mine.

I'm probably the only one that wishes you could see more of the chrome look for the reverse light deflector. I think without it they look a little dull

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Well my Meso tails have the complete blackout with black chrome in the reverse buckets which I like the look since my headlights are completely blacked out. With the brighter bulbs it's still better than stock.
