So I've now got my three 8.7" HIDs ready for the front of the truck, as I had decided on the N-Fab DRP (Smittybilt RPD) Light cage. It holds 3 lights up to 9". However, when I checked with Smittybilt, they said they aren't in production yet. I even called N-Fab, and got nearly the same story. This strikes me as quite odd, as I've seen various pictures of a finished product, and most websites are advertising both bars. Most do say "will ship in 7 to 10 days", but I just figured it was their standard CYA statement.

So I'm curious if someone has ordered one of these bars from somewhere, and they got it 2 days, 2 weeks, whatever later. If so, where did you order if from?

Otherwise, I'll either have to wait or pick a different bar. I like some others, but I'd have to cut/weld the mounting tabs into different spots (the other bar I like is a 4-tab setup.)

    Any thoughts out there?

I need to call Avid I suppose. I posted in their vendor sub-forum, asking if three 9" lights will fit across the top bar, or even better, across the lower bar (with extended tabs.) But they never responded to the thread. :(

But it is quite a bit more than the other options too. The discount will likely just cover shipping, and I imagine it will be about $100 to have it powder coated....

I really like the N-FAB DRP cage, which is the one I would go with out of the two due to quality. That really sucks that they're saying the cage isn't in production and it's on their website, mounted on a Tacoma.

Bah, I got tired of waiting a few weeks ago and just ordered the Smitty/N-Fab Street Light bar. I made a bracket to convert it to hold 3 lights (although I could have fit four of the Vision X 8500's on the Street Bar.) But since I've only got 3 lights.....
