Hell ya. :bananadance: This is a good representation of what I was feeling on the drive home. Jesus, the picture is huge.

It's in the works, I want to give it some time for it to settle in so I would say within the next couple weeks or so. I'm heading on a wheeling/camping trip with a small convey form FL. The plan is to hit a couple spots in Alabama, Tennessee and then slide into the Destination Outdoor event in Blue Ridge Georgia on Oct 2. So I'm super excited to see how the truck does with the tune out on the trials.

I went from stock to OV 1.5, OV 2.0, Kruiser (during this time, I played with a bunch of different tunes, but kept returning to Kruiser), and finally KDMax.

I'm driving an 18 TRD Sport with 32s on 18in wheels (significantly heavier than stock). Light armor both front and rear with a TRD Pro skid. I also have two Swing Cases in the bed, each carrying about 40-50lbs of gear. Finally I carry 8 gallons of extra fuel and 4 gallons of water in the front of the bed. All said, there is probably an additional 500lbs of added weight spread throughout the truck.

I have used both regular and premium gas on KDMax. With premium, my highway mileage is better (cruising at 70-75) and the engine seems to respond a little quicker.

Any issues running the 93 octane KDMax tune with 87? I know it's octane learning but would I be better off switching to the 87 tune if I do it for an extended period? 1-2 weeks

No problem running premium on the regular tune.
You just shouldn’t run regular on the premium tune.

I'm glad! If my Taco ever gets delivered, he will be one of the first stops I make, even though he's 3 hours away.

Our 2016 TRD Offroad is a low mileage ,35200 mile truck for recreation and not a daily driver .
After a SSP , 3 TSB ECU updates , OVtune 1.4 , 1.4R ,1.5 and a host of betas , 2.0 ,and Kruiser 4.0 , I have been running the KDMax 6.0 for 800 miles now . I think this is where I will stay because the engine has it's limitations and this will not change . I am currently on the 87 wife tip and always use nonethanol 93 fuel . Our recreational driving of hilly highways 55 to 65 mph , and gravel roads of 15 to 30 mph , this tune gets me about 21 to 23 mpg with Cooper AT3 E series rubber ( + 1 over OV 2.0 ) .It shifts smoothly and knows what gear to be in the way it should . Put it in S5 ECT for towing and it feels like a lower geared tractor with all the power I could want for my 1500 lb boat on the same hilly roads with a more responsive tip in , while still being able to use non ETC mode ( wife tip ) while pulling the boat out of the water on a slippery ramps with a push off a button .It is also fun in ECT just for the truck to feel more spirited on the road when I am in the mood for it. Having the 2 wheel lo mod thanks to @lapoltba takes away any worries no matter where I go also . I also have my Transmission thermostat pinned and my temps are usually around 175 to 185 even when it is 95 degrees + outside , this is much lower than the 210 to 220 without towing I would see on my hills unpinned . OV2.0 had no where near the difference between ECT and non ECT for towing so this is a welcomed change for me .
I truly feel I have my Tacoma dialed in to drive how I want it , when I want it , for anything I subject it to .
Maybe someday there will be an OV ultimate tune to challenge KDmax but it is no where in sight and only just so many of us that even remember it was to come .At the same time OVtune is what enabled the KDMax to happen so thanks OV and KD . Get tuned with KDmax and you will not be sorry . The customer service is always almost instant ! Thanks Guys !
