    Do you find it streaky?

It will be streaky if you use too much of it. They mean it when they say 1-2 sprays per panel. A little goes a long way.

Does heat, humidity plays a role in the streaking?

Are these products being discussed safe to use on a clear bra? Like Xpel?

I think if you used it under direct sunlight, it will like most other products. Just do it in a shaded area, should be fine whether it's hot or humid. I just know from experience don't use too much of it lol, will be a PIA to buff out :).

I work in the shade but the panel maybe too hot. For some reason I always get streaking, and it's applied lightly.

I had my new taco ceramic glass coated professionally. Not cheap, but it has a lifetime guarantee against all sorts of crap. Seems stone that use to leave paint chips on my old tundra don't on this. Even paint scuffs left by other vehicles when shopping come off with a bit of elbow grease. Bugs and bird shit just wipe right off vs they left a stain in the clear coat with the tundra. Not cheap for the 2 day process, but so far no complaints.

Just apply it like you would if it wasn't there? Never done anything like this before but I'd really like to detail my truck and seems like a good time to do it.

Yep, you just apply the spray (like the Turtle Wax Hyrbid Solutions Ceramic Coating Spray) on a clean/dry/cool car. You can probably find a few YouTube videos online showing the process as well, but you pretty much just spray a little on and then buff/wipe it off with a clean microfiber towel. It's very easy (like spraying on Windex to clean a window).

There is also a version where you can spray it on a wet car and then just dry it off (yellow label = Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wet Wax). I have both bottles, and I used their regular ceramic spray (green label) on my wife's Audi TT when we picked the car up last year followed by the ceramic wet wax (yellow label) after every 1-2 washes.

And another Friday TW thread goes to :crapstorm:

I actually used the turtle wax hybrid on my Tacoma and my new ES. I liked it.

Has anyone had any experience with "glare" products? My neighbor had his car coating with this stuff and it's pretty slick. https://youtu.be/6lwLEQLzQL4

Great product and I found spraying on the applicator/rag works well and avoids overspray.

True. It’s all about the prep. For the past year I’ve been testing Carpro CQuartz UK 3.0 (on my Tacoma) beside Maguire's hybrid ceramic, turtle wax hybrid ceramic, and Griots 3 in 1 Hybrid ceramic (these on a 4Runner).

I applied the cquartz with the full recommended suite of products including the Erassr/Essence DA polish.

Honestly, I don’t think any of the spray products are going to give you the slickness of CQaurtz but, in my opinion, they give similar gloss and appearance.

The prep work in time was so extensive for CQuartz that on my new Tacoma I think I’m just gonna go with the spray sealants after a wash. They’re just so much easier and look similar.

I can’t really tell the difference between the three spray sealants mentioned but probably prefer the griots for application and smell.
